When I see any city in China, I always notice that there are at least 8 lanes of roads within the city. In the middle, there is one lane for tree,.and on both sides, there are two lanes for footpaths. The infrastructure is so impressive that it leaves me amazed. They make very clean cities.

Big highways cutting through the city is not a great thing. Great cities are made for people and not cars & thorough fares. India is also mindlessly burning money on road infra to enable car-ownership as against investing mindfully in rail infrastructure where its becoming super inconvenient for people to commute for e.g. the suburban trains in Mumbai. Central Railway’s main suburban line in Mumbai has not seen a single new service in last 8 years. All cities in India deserve their own autonomous transport authorities with prime focus on penalising car ownership and usage.
@Zmeyuka1 Жыл бұрын
@@bobbuildin01 Totally agree with you, in Kyiv Ukraine we have similar approach, clearly not spending enough on people transportation, focusing instead on vehicle transportation. Widening roads only stimulated for more cars and conjestion only worsened. And no one wants to live near a strode (a combination of street with road). Public transportation and micro mobility is much more efficient in terms of resources spending and make cities feel more joyful and cozy comparing to wide roads, which stimulate absence of people on streets and in fact causes more deaths caused by accidents and by non direct issues like air/noise pollution and lack of excersize.

yes, and that's because in the US there are laws such as the 5th amendment, liberty, and people have the right to come and go, and it's difficult to restrict a homeless person from free movement. You must be a right winger, based on your mean and unsensitive critique of homeless people. Because you see, with an extremely low per capita income compared to developed countries, it's impossible that China doesn't have more poor people than the USA. They do exist, only you don't see them, because China hides them away from view, so that per Shrek's Lord Farquad thinking, they don't spoil their "perfect world". Perhaps you remember that during the Beijing Olympics in 2008 they hand picked kids they thought to be beautiful, because they were ashamed of their ugly children.
@ThomasJr Жыл бұрын
@rm83689 Жыл бұрын
@@ThomasJr I'm sure you're brainwashed by the Western media and/or Falun Gong (e.g. Epoch Times, NTD, China Uncensored, China Insights, etc.) which are constantly spreading anti-China propaganda. Moreover, it's obvious that you've never been to China to see the reality, which is quite different/opposite to what you've been brainwashed with. If you think that Taiwan is "democratic", then you're definitely wrong. Taiwan, not to mention Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Canada, do not dare to change their stance on foreign policy without the CIA/White House/Pentagon's approval. Taiwan can be labeled as a puppet state. The ROC regime was started back in 1911 by pro-western students headed by Sun Yat Sen. Sun studied in the west, was a Christian, and was backed financially by the west. Many western puppets have the pattern of studying in the west. Think Aung San Suu Kyi in Myanmar, Or Lee Hsien Long of Singapore. The idea is, the west brainwashes these students, and sends the students back to their country of origin to assist western imperialism. This is why many western countries offer scholarships. The hope is that some of these students can go back to their country and enact pro-western policies. This is why many countries do things that are bad for their country, but good for the west. It’s also important to know that Sun was a Christian, because the Christian church also has a history of brainwashing people to enact pro-western policies. This is why the Christian church operates in so many countries. It’s not just for religious purposes. Now let’s go back to the west backing the ROC. China, during the early 1900s was run by the Qing, and the west wanted to get rid of them. So they backed the ROC. Once again, you’re not going to back someone who won't come through. When you back rebellions it’s an investment, and the west isn’t going to back someone unless they believed they could assist their ambitions. Then in the 1920s, a communist revolution was brewing. By the 1940s, the ROC was getting beat and had retreated to Taiwan province. By then, the US still believed that the ROC was useful to American imperialism, and decided to continue backing them. Up until the 1970s, Taiwan, ROC was under US military occupation to allow US imperialism to project aggression against mainland China. Although troops were withdrawn in the 70′s, the US maintained control of Taiwan up until today. All Taiwanese presidential candidates must have an interview in the US before running. As with other puppets, if the US doesn’t like a certain candidate, he or she is disqualified. One such candidate was Hong Xiuzhu. She was in favor of unification, and did not play ball as the US expected her to. That got her disqualified. Who ended up getting “elected” was Tsai Ing-wen. Her political stance was anti-Chinese, pro-Japanese, pro-capitalist, and pro-western, perfectly in line with western expectations.

Jesus Christ is the only true savior for the world, Jesus loves you and He died for your sins, on the third day, He arose from death and He is alive today... An autonomous bus encounters just as many obstacles as an ordinary car or bus. The difference is that the autonomous bus must be equipped with an “awareness” that can manage all the information it receives during its journey. Sensors on the buses allow them to run on pre-determined routes without a driver needing to control them. They have undergone trials at a depot as well as track testing and virtual simulation. The bus drives with guidance by cameras, laser radars, and a master controller, along with a human driver behind the wheel ready to take over in case any problems arise. 6:09 [Edinburgh Live; Daily Mirror; Nobina]

in australia the trains and trams are temporarily substituted by buses once every week for "maintenance"
I was in Cologne a few years ago to attend Anuga FoodTec and thereafter planned to take the train to Berlin since it was faster then driving. But there was a public transportation strike and I ended having to drive 6hours non stop (ok, one fuel stop) to get to my destination. Upon arriving at the hotel, the hotel reception said “sir, you looked very tired, can we offer you a welcome drink?”. I think I must have looked like shit upon arrival but kudos to the people in Hilton Berlin. Loved Germany especially its people and Berlin. Had great experiences there but that was a few years ago and I am retired now. I am sure the situation will improve in Germany so chin up.
