Whew! That was a lot of work. I'm curious. Do resorts such as that have any kind of end-of-day ski patrol in off trail areas such as that to pick up the lost and injured, or do they pretty much rely on finding you by the smell come spring?

The yellows are controlled, in Switzerland better defined than other places. They would probably be patrolled, at least end of day. I have seen a lift operator check with binoculars once during the day. In the Alps now, snowing heavily, not the best filming weather for a while it seems, except Sunday looks perfect...
