It's like video from the Point Of View of a flying dog ,and as he flies along looking around you can see the tip of his nose. Proving it is a flying dog, no doubt. They don't fly fast because they have to sniff everything.

Are you actually flying with 4s1550 with 3 batteries in parallel for 4s4650 total on-board? Not too heavy? I tried setting up a Dolphin with 4s3300 battery pack, but it was a disaster. My Dolphin stalled on almost any turn with little warning. It did not go into a spin but just randomly rotated in all directions like paper falling from the sky. It would need about 600ft altitude to recover from. But when I fly regular LOS (no FPV) it flies fine. Couldn't figure it out and abandoned it for FPV, and I'll just use it for regular non-FPV flight.

4s3p lipo with 2806.5 1800kv is a perfect balance between longrange efficiency and high speed ability but when I use 4s3p lion 9000 mah dolphin becomes heavy, but could fly up to 60 min

@@lowpass_fpv Thanks for the reply and details! I was thinking my 4s3300 pack was too heavy for my Dolphin causing high "wing loading", and the Dolphin's stubby wings increase loading more. I've read that delta wings are more susceptible to stalling with high load by stalling earlier and stalling deeper. I have a fellow FPV flyer that also has a Dolphin (two of them) and they fly well. But they have also experienced a couple inexplicable stalls though. We have checked the CG on the Dolphin and it exact per manual. It also flies well non-FPV (LOS) doing the standard acrobatics no problem: rolls, loops, split-s, and Immelmann. The only difference is some extra weight up front with the Walksnail camera/VTX/pan-tilt servos in FPV flight not present in regular LOS flight. But the FPV camera *is* a bit higher though due to the pan/tilt servos -- maybe this is the cause with extra forward canopy air drag. 🤔 Oh well, I have several other planes, quad copters and helicopters for FPV which occupies me. But I might return to the Dolphin later for FPV as I liked its performance and efficiency, and appearance.
