Our favourite place to go on holiday, have stayed near Beddgelert on 3 occasions and Dinorwic 4 times. Love it, so much to see and do.

I remember the novelty of discovering this area 20 years ago when in my early 20s and being blown away by its beauty. Now, it just feels so familiar and is often overrun with tourists. Stunning area, but done to death now by van lifers/walkers/tourists/Snowdon climbers/. It's probably now the most visited UK tourist spot outside of London
