I dont know why, but the Japanese kids in these rides are usually so wholesome. You can hear how excited they are to ride everything. And theyre usually quiet and not loud. Definitely different than in America.

The Japanese apparently have high respect for the park because it's so clean and well designed. That's what I've heard from trip reports. It's part of their culture to respect things like that, maybe because of strict schools, or because they just have an affinity for the immersive. But it also helps that Tokyo Disneyland is one of the best theme park resorts in the entire world as a whole, and apparently some people say it's better than WDW.

上海のカリブは最新映像技術を駆使してるだけで、アトラクションというより企業の新製品テストみたい。凄いんだけど薄っぺらいというか、魅力は感じないね。何回か乗ると化けの皮が剥がれるというか、カラクリが分かってしまい冷める。やはりカリブの海賊も昔からある東京ディズニーの方が断然良いと思った。

No I don't think it ever said that. When they went to translate it they found that there was no Japanese translation for dead men tell no tales. They found that it said that if they tried to do it literally. Never said it in the ride though.

It’s in a weird place, barely apart of any land. They kind of made a very mini New Orleans Square, but I don’t mind lol. Back in Cali where I’m from at our Disney they have lines that go on for an hour all along the outside, so this is great for me

The California version is longer, jas a darker swamp scene where the ceiling is less visible, has two drops instead of just one, has bigger cavern scenes, and a long lift hill at the end where you unload where you boarded. the Florida version is crap.

It's gotta be very strange after visiting the American Parks to have Florida's haunted mansion, then go to a New Orleans Square in ADVENTURELAND, and ride Cali's Pirates, then see Florida's old Tomorrowland, Florida's Tiki Room building, Florida's Country Bears and Splash Mountain, and California's Space Mt. It's like Escape from Tomorrow! If only this park had Mr. Toad and Alice, then built the Matterhorn, and added pandora it'd be like a best of park. I heard it once had a s Sky Ride too.

Much of the dialogue in the Tokyo Disneyland version of Pirates of the Caribbean is in English, except for the talking skull at the beginning of the ride before the waterfall drop. The talking skull is speaking in Japanese.

I like the Disneyland one the best. Even after Shanghai. Shanghai's is too flashy for me too movie based. I preferred the original story of the ride before the movies came out

@@yigoh8437 if you pay attention to the context clues, it's a story about how you see the fate of the pirates in the cave, instantly dead but covered in treasure, with a painting of a red headed pirate queen. Then you go back in time to see them invade the town and drink themselves silly then capture said redhead and later possibly blow themselves up in the armory while drunk. It's implied that the redhead somehow conquered them and maybe even betrayed them later on (her skeleton isn't here). It's a cautionary tale that your own lust for booty and pleasure will destroy you if you are a pirate who tries to gain it maliciously

Jack's situated on a chair at the end of the Disneyland ride; however, he's not speaking to a parrot but, essentially, to himself (about the wonders of pirating) -- soliloquy -- which, of course, is meant for the riders' edification/enjoyment! :)
