Splash Mountain at Disneyland in California is the first to open on July 17, 1989
If you guys are a Disney fans, we highly recommend visiting Tokyo Disney Resort. It's seriously the best Disney park in the world. There are 2 Disney Parks in Tokyo. One is Tokyo Disneyland and another is Tokyo DisneySea. Tokyo Disney resort ticket is very affordable unlike in the United States. You are looking at around $60 for day ticket to $200 for a 4 day ticket.
Remember everything is better in person. Video never does justice.

@Garbage Guy This really does seem to be the premiere version of Splash Mt. The other 2 versions don't even have the Frog which is actually Uncle Remus and he's the most badass part of the movie so it really completes the story. Plus the bee scene effects are way more decked out.

Right before the drastic changes that were made with Tangled onward. Ill always remember Princess and the frog because it was the last beautifully animated 2D films disney has done. I personally really enjoy the film, its songs and enjoy the message of hard work Tiana had to put in rather than being rescued by a prince. And the villain song is SUPER awesome. I definitely see a fair amount of merchandise from it at The Disney Store and parks, so I know it has a fandom for sure.

Completely agree with you on your description about Tokyo Disney being the best resort in the world. It really is. My wife and I have had the chance to see Paris and Tokyo (along with the two domestic resorts) and Tokyo was honestly the most superior. Everything from the quality control, the cast members, maintenance, the surrounding guests, cleanliness, etc. I hate to say it as a true fan of of the original Disneyland, Tokyo has got all of them beat and based off everyone else who has been there also agrees.

Best Splash Mountain in the world, by far. The queue is incredible. It's almost an attraction on its own. The ride is fantastic and you don't get very wet which I tend to appreciate. And I really like the restaurant built into the mountain. Tokyo Disney Resort does everything better.

Boo Spanyer Cassiopeia it looks like it’s much longer than the one at Disneyland. They don’t have those bee hives at Disneyland. I took my niece to Disneyland and she chickened out on splash mountain because she’s too scared and she kept wanting to back out on every ride that had a long line. I regret bringing my niece to Disneyland because she’s a spoiled brat. She was complaining about the weather being too hot in Anaheim and she said she likes the weather in Ohio because it’s colder.

If Splash Mountain is to be renewed, Tiana is not well known in Japan, so I do not think it will be changed as in Florida or Anaheim. If it were to be changed, it would probably be renewed for a popular film in Japan, like "Zootopia" for example.

Splash Mountain is an artistic masterpiece, it does not need a “change” anymore than the Mona Lisa does. However, Disney’s increasingly poor corporate environment and lack of maintenance/upgrades in the US does.

This ride will forever be amazing, when you crash down a picture flashes and you can buy the picture usually near the exit and it’s always worth it. Just outside the exit though, there’s amazing sausages and snacks you can buy ☺️☺️

The things I liked better about Disney world’s splash was the tree in the very beginning of the ride with the singing birds, the sky backdrops they had, their more vibrant lighting effects, the way you’d be able to see the fireworks on the ride, the lightning strikes the vultures had behind them and their view at the very top of the drop with the castle, can’t be beat. Overall though this is FANTASTIC, I really hope they’ll be able to integrate these other things though that made wdw’s one so special, maybe they can ship some of these extra ride additions over to Tokyo and implement them somehow Edit: added one other thing

The vulture scene does have a very heavy fog not seen in this video because of the camera settings. As for the view in the drop, you see big thunder and the mark twain. I personally like the outdoor portions in this version of the ride better because they remain more consistent to the theme. I do hope they add more critters to them though. The bird house seemed like a nice prop to wdw's splash

@@jacksonpriestap3685 that's it! the owner of the Disney Parks in Japan is The Oriental Land Company. so all decisions made in the US about the attractions don't change anything in Japan. everybody here in Japan loves Splash Mountain, it's hard to see the Japanese Company to think about retheme this attraction like in Magic Kingdom.

Tokyo never changed their auction scene in Pirates so I have a feeling Splash will be safe as well. Disney themselves don't have much say in what goes on at Tokyo Disneyland so it's not like they can force any changes.
