I would not spend top dollar on the -300's when there are so many better products right now like polaris and mint. delta needs to step up their transcon game

The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. I flew both ways on Delta One and I am gonna blunt when I say this; if you want to feel like you aren’t cattle and stretch out and enjoy a comfortable ride especially up front, go splurge!!! You live once and I guarantee you this civil servant who works hard but isn’t boogie it’s the way to go.

They frequently change aircraft on this route. I assume they're using the 767-300 for international routes again so they've probably pivoted back to the 757 for domestic routes like this.

They're slowly working on retrofitting the -300s at the moment. It's nothing major though - they're adding a premium select cabin and refitting the interior/upholstery on the other cabins.

No they got rid of that requirement. So you no longer need a test to fly into the US.
