I believe that out of all demos it's the Rafale ones that impress me the most. It may not be a "5th gen" or whatever, it does not come equipped with TVC, but even without the gimmicks this bird just looks like it belongs in the sky. It's pretty much the definition of freedom. We absolutely need this gorgeous machine in a good sim.

Also my opinion , all 5Th generation planes , it's more the name than the flying capabilties.

@@marcs_best_airshow_videos And that was inevitable when they compromised aerodynamics for a yet another popular gimmick called "stealth". 5th gen is like a death of a fighter jet... and that is especially a pity, because things were only starting to get exciting, the machines started getting closer and closer to the aerodynamic perfection... and then came "stealth" - boom! flying bricks in the skies, what a novelty... Ironically, Rafale is pretty damn good in that regard as well, despite not looking like it was a kid's attempt at the Rubik's Snake.

I read a few days ago that the Americans will build "overture" a new Concorde with max speed of 2200 km/u in the next 5 years . For the moment in the West only the Eurofighter , F-22 and Saab Gripen are faster than this new passenger plane . All 5th generation jet are slower

@@marcs_best_airshow_videos That most likely has to do with the tendency to drop the diverter/splitter part and the articulated ramps from the inlet design, because they apparently hurt the oh, so precious stealth... So, planes like F-35 or even JF-17 have these "bumps" right next to the inlet opening to eject the supersonic flow out of the inlet. That *greatly* simplifies the design, but the downside is that usually the thing can't even reach Mach 2 because of the engine not running efficiently enough at higher speeds lacking proper boundary layer management and all.
