I have this upgrade available from economy for $570. You think it's worth it?

To be quite honest, it's not really worth it. The food was very mediocre at best. Also it depends on where you sit. The old school seats aren't that great especially if you sit in the middle, there's not a whole lot of privacy. Everyone can see one another.

I don't understand why United Airlines says they have first class on the Boeing 777-200, it looks more like business than first

Yes, it's confusing. These first class seats on these 777-200s (non ER fleet) are what United calls "Domestic First" and these seats are from way back in the days and they are very old.

There are no meals served in Economy but only small snacks and drinks are served.

Domestic First. These were seats from yesteryears that UA has kept on their domestic 777-200 (non ER).

@@BayAreaTraveler Well, it's time for United to upgrade. 4 seats in the center is a disgrace.

@@afridgetoofar1818 I agree, it needs a refresh. However, if I'm not mistaken, UA does not want to spend the money to upgrade these planes as they are some of the oldest 777-200 in the fleet, nearing 30 years and probably retiring quite soon.

When I go to Honolulu, I always fly Hawaiian Airlines, because the economy provides bread, haha, and United Economy only has cookies.
