Universal Studios Beijing (Chinese: 北京环球影城) is a Universal theme park in Beijing that opened in 2021 as part of Universal Beijing Resort. The park would become the fifth Universal Studios-branded theme park in the world, the seventh Universal-built park overall, and the third in Asia, after Universal Studios Japan and Universal Studios Singapore.
The project was announced on October 13, 2014 with the plan to invest 20 billion RMB (US$3.3 billion) into the new theme park; a groundbreaking ceremony was held on October 31, 2016. It will feature attractions themed primarily to Universal-owned movies, TV shows, animation, and music, as well as licensed properties from other companies (e.g., Warner Bros. etc.)
Universal Studios Beijing is approximately 54 hectares (130 acres) in area, occupying the northeastern most part of the 400-hectare (990-acre) Universal Beijing Resort. The theme park's list of attractions has not yet been officially announced, but some of the park's planned amenities and themed areas have been revealed in concept artwork and promotional materials. As of October 2019, the park is planning to construct seven themed zones, each surrounding a large, central lagoon.

Themed after the real Hollywood Boulevard, in Hollywood, CA, this area acts as the entryway to the park. It will also contain a music plaza, a Mel's Diner, and a "Lights, Camera, Action!" Show co-hosted by Steven Spielberg and Zhang Yimou.

Themed after the Jurassic World movie franchise.

You should see Japan universals show for monster hunter. They made like a 20ft Ratheon (idk if that's how you spell it) and it looks *SO REAL*

I also think they were smart too, there is no way to have a huge dragon like that flying through a theater and not show huge wires but how they have it come in and synch up with the speed of the screens where at that point you can't see them is jaw dropping. 💋

They look just like the movie. This is a live action remake done right, unlike what Disney has churned out. The characters and dragons here are clearly recognisable from the movie and this is as live-action as you can possibly get.

This could easily be placed at universal studios hollywood at the dreamworks theater. I remember when it was the flintstones show and they had a flying pterodactyl sequence. If the mechanics are still there this is a better use for thr space than the cheap kung fu panda show they have now.

Most people wont realize what a a hugely technical show this is especially with the flying sequences. Took a great team of people to make this happen from Universal Creative and many many world recognized contractors!

The show isnt in English and when I left there wasnt plans to do a English version though a lot of us hoped they would do a odd show in English each day. However there are VR glasses and tablets at guest services which can be hired which have closed captioning in English and Chinese. Its all time locked to the show so its really like getting captioning in a movie!
