室内の隅に蹲る暗がりを見ると谷崎潤一郎の陰翳礼讃を思い出します。 暗がりに美意識を見出すのは我々だけではないと思いますが、日本の伝統的な建築物に見られる大きな特徴のひとつです。 Seeing the darkness in the corner of the room reminds me of Junichiro Tanizaki's 'In Praise of Shadows'. I don't think we are the only ones who find aesthetic sense in the darkness, but it is one of the major characteristics of traditional Japanese architecture.
