After four intense months, I'm excited to unveil my latest video commemorating the 25th anniversary of Zelda: Ocarina of Time! Originally conceived as a small, enjoyable project over the summer to take a break from the realistic videos I've created before that, I'm so happy with the final result. I attempted to blend the amazing aesthetics we see in Ghibli with the fantastic Zelda universe. What are your thoughts? Would you be interested in seeing more videos with this artistic direction? Would you like to see other locations? Let me know in the comments and thank you everyone for your amazing support! #EDITS: I'm absolutely blown away by the amazing response to the video and I can't thank each and every one of you enough. To everyone who watched, liked, commented, and shared the video - your enthusiasm has been contagious, and it means the world to me! I'm grateful for the love and positivity you've brought to this unexpected journey. Thank you to all the new subscribers! Thank you for joining this growing community, and I'm excited to share more content and connect with all of you. I also want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Nintendo for creating the incredible Zelda franchise. Over the years, it has inspired millions, including myself, with its rich storytelling, captivating characters, and unforgettable adventures. The magic of Zelda has touched our hearts, and I'm honored to be part of a community that cherishes this extraordinary gaming legacy. Let's continue this amazing journey together! Your support motivates me to create more content and share more stories. Stay tuned for what's next, and once again, THANK YOU for making this moment so special. 🙏

But it's also a lot more timeless than a movie. a real life adoptation will be trash in 10 years where as an animation, _Real Animation, not the blender or other 3d animation software made ones. Real hand drawn animations!_ is timeless. Maybe not completely. But i can still watch cartoons from the 70's and be entertained. And i wasn't even born back then. But if someone puts on almost any movie made between 2010 and 2015 i'm bored because of irrelevant inclusions of apps and other product placements that isn't nostalgic, but just a major annoyance and ruining the movie. Then you have the camera quality vs the evolution of monitors and TV's. They never ad up. But animation can be retuned to what ever screen or monitor fits the times, easily. It’s amazing to see how you captured the 2D animation style in 3D perfectly with the lighting, texture, frame-rate, and your awesome composer building off of Koji Kondo’s music!
@doughboy_6439 Жыл бұрын
A big part of capturing that is that the animations update at a much lower fixed rate than the actual frames rendering.

This is just breathtaking! In a few minutes you made our childhood memories of Ocarina of Time come to life. My eyes are right now tearful thanks to how much this reminds me how it felt to be playing the game and how I imagined that world in my mind. You put a lot of heart into this and it shows. Thank you for sharing this with the world, and whatever happens in the future you deserve to have a wonderful career in animation.

I need about 12 gallons of water because my jaw is locked to the floor. I can't even begin to express how incredible this work is. There are entire studios that can't put out this quality of work. All of the assets look amazing and the music is amazing and just all of it is amazing. It really makes me want a movie and a remake of OOT in this style because it's just absurdly beautiful and timeless.

This was so amazing my jaw hit the floor a few times, wow truly incredible!!! you created a masterpiece that is visually stunning and remarkable which ticked every single box, the nostalgia got me right in the feels.. Also imagine if modders turn this into a playable demo or actual game.... it would blow my mind.

That was absolutely beautiful. You’ve outdone yourself. It’s crazy the amount of improvement as an animator and storyteller you’ve made over the small time I’ve been following your work here. Keep it up man.

No words could ever do justice, but I’ll try. This is stunning, my eyes and brain are in denial of what they’re seeing, it’s just that otherworldly. It honestly pains me to know that Nintendo’s movie won’t look like this, but it pains me even more to know that Nintendo’s movie probably won’t have the same passion and love put into it as this movie. The fact that you made it all by yourself in just four months, on top of a fully time job, is inspiring. I could only hope to create art like this one day. Thank you for making this, genuinely. The joy I felt watching this was something I hadn’t experienced for a while.

This is absolutely unbelieveable. This is the work of a truly dedicated and masterful artist regardless of whatever you may say to yourself. The direction of the little moments of the King's subdued surprise at Ganondorf's appearance, the sheer joy Link has while being chased by the dog and the impact Ganondorf's stare has are not simple things. You've truly made something special and should not discount your talent.

When saria's song hit and I saw the environment my heart melted. Also the running in circles with the dog, when I think about it we all would do that what makes it magical is that a zelda fan will understand these little things, more than "oh that's cute" it's more like "yeah that's me" 😊
