Plenty of beautiful rolling hills and forests...Not at all what people picture when mentioning Kansas. Thanks for the adventure!

Almost 20 years ago I used to live in Lawrence, KS and took a vanpool to Topeka, KS for work and we would take that road to avoid the toll on the Turnpike. I've lived in California since but this video brings back good memories. Thanks.

Thanks for letting us ride with you. I've never been to Kansas, but I'm impressed with what I saw. I can't imagine how anyone could find fault with the area.

When I drive from Lenexa to Manhattan, I occasionally like to take this same highway to/from Topeka. And the opposite direction. I hope you get to take old 40 throughout Kansas. :) K-140 from Salina to Ellsworth goes past the old Brookville Hotel. I heard someone bought it and restored the restaurant there. :)
