Bali? Yes, kinda. The rest of indonesian cities are absolute hell to walk, plus the pressure to use 2 wheeled motor vehicles to go.. everywhere. Or a car, thats your choice, unless youre lucky enough to live in a city with good ish public transit and thats only jakarta Indonesian villages are the opposite you can walk, cycle, whatever everywhere except public transit, but its the most walkable you can get. Indonesian villages imo are way better than most attractions in bali as theres just so many people, but villages are quite, tempt, nature-y, and last but not least, walkable. Thanks for listening to my ted talk

I've been alone 1 week in Ubud from Jakarta in August 2020. I've walked a lot on the street there and also Campuhan just like you did in this clip too! It's like i see myself did this🤣 i've not realize how much i walked until i felt my feet were painful, shoes bit them, and cried at night because the whole legs had muscle cramp😂 by the way, i was so happy to be there...Ubud is so beautiful, green rice terrace fields.. I did eBike tour from rice field to Tirta Empul.. It was so amazing! And the guide guy told me i was actually the very first and the only one customer to book them a tour since they closed for 5-6 months during covid. No tourists, no customers, no jobs.. The guy said he was so happy to be back to work first day and all his colleagues too(5 of them welcomed me, i feel like im a princess😂).. I really felt sad to hear this..unfortunately i was alone..could not bring up lots of income for them.. but i did giving him lots of tip. Everywhere i've been mostly empty.. Zero or few touristsI feel sad for local people, the whole businesses that need to rely on tourists. Even they are struggling, but i could see one thing..it was "smile"..they smiled , said hello and welcomed me everywhere.. and many said they're happy to see me as i'm a tourist back to travel ( fortunately i live in JKT). I always feel like home in Bali. I wish they can keep holding on together to pass this crisis period. I will go back again to Bali next month.

@@misterjack9991 yes it does, that's how I base my opinion on it. Bali's only "culture" is making as much money from tourists as possible. That's why so many people never return after going there, constant hassling for money from the locals gets very annoying. I would say no probably 100 times a day when offered to buy junk.. plenty of other better Asian countries that don't hassle you out there. I was drawn to your platform because I love to see other women traveling the world. I waited late in life to get a passport and visit countries that I’ve only read about or seen on tv because I lived my young life with a partner who never wanted to travel outside the US. It’s amazing to see the world!!! I admire your courage to travel abroad as a young woman with only God as your travel companion. I am so blessed to be able to travel with my oldest daughter whose husband encourages our mom & daughter trips abroad. Be led by God and trust HIM. God is not the author of confusion, so if separating yourself to remove toxicity and gain peace is what you have to do, God bless you. Sometimes you have to teardown to build up. I love your strength and faith, Sis! Virtual hugs to you. Be safe and keep moving onward and upward. God has a plan for all of us; all we have to do is participate. 🙏🏽☺️
