Because Indonesia should be a hindu-buddha religion, In majapahit they're aware that "There are no religion higher than Truth." - Rig Veda Thats why they don't do religion but rather Paganism, thats why they were rich , but the richness and those nice kingdom is collapses because of the one son of the king is a muslim, and getting all the doctrin fear of hell and lustful toward heaven, and the son of the king of majapahit (Raden Patah) cout d'etat the king of Majapahit (his father) and Majapahit collapses and that land became the land of muslim except Bali, because the king of Bali don't want to converted to islam and they're unconquerable, because Bali means invincible in sanskrit and "keBal" (invincible) in bahasa, imagine how entire Indonesia be looking like Bali when there's no bloody islam who is onto dogma and doctrin, i mean after we died we're reincarnated duh, thats why past life regression exist, after you escape those loop of hell (reincarnation circle) thats when you approach Nirvana (non-duality state of mind) and Moksha, and being a God, we have many God, because the "God" used to be human, thats why our "God" looks so human, because they were human, and they ascended to Moksha/Nirvana realm, Jesus is also a human who ascend, people who ascended is automatically being a God, and the purpose of worshipping them to match our energy/frequency/vibration with whatever we want, for instance when you want to be famous like charli d'amelio, match your energy with charli by calling out her soul to stay in your body or just to match them with your vibration, so you got the famous vibes (vibration) because of charli, moreover that they're God, we want to match our energy with God so we can be God too and "If you want to know the secret of the universe think in term of energy, frequency, and vibration." - Nikola Tesla muslims is the tradition neglector and they choose modernity(religion) over tradition, what we should do is reject modernity embrace your tradition, islam, smh.

OMG I'm in Bali now and have eaten the most fabulous food for the last week! I'm taking a cooking class next week and can't wait to get home and try the recipes! Bebek betutu, Ayam Sambal matah, Ayam Pelalah, Mei and Nasi Goreng. Never ate such interesting tasting and beautiful to look at food! PS the Warung I ate at tonight made a dragonfruit sauce for sambal that was THE BEST! Oh also had a green chili sambal that was awesome. I'm making myself hungry again! Luckily it's all healthy so you can eat and eat and not worry about getting fat!

Mark, I really enjoyed this episode Whether its intentional or not, I really like the way you and Trevor James' travels and vlogs complement each other. Your appreciation of SE Asia is terrific, and Bali looks wonderful. In a former life I would have spent too much money on a fancy resort - but I think traveling and dining like you have in this episode and many others is the way to really relax and experience the culture!

@samthepoet1077 жыл бұрын
That's horrible. Also giving customers meat they never ordered especially dog meat could adversely affect their tourism. Well I never seen dog meat but I know chicken when I see it. That is not much to chicken anyway. So I can't imagine pulling that off unless the customers are drunk.
@bert41417 жыл бұрын
Ya well, if you have seen those tiny "chicken/pork" barbecue sticks in satay sauce and other peppers ect they are pretty small and very hard to really know what your eating. one legit and new restaurant tried to recommend to me their special dish; I asked if its rat, he said no, is it dog, he replied dont worry its special. I asked again is it dog meat, did you just steal the neighbours dog and put it in your restaurant he did not get my joke so he replied no, but dont worry its totally real, its not from street its from special dog market ;D I had a cold drink and left. I read that about 40 restaurants in bali was confirmed to have dog meat when they tested a big load and did a little investigation. :P and they think that 2 yrs ago 200.000 dogs were slaughtered in Just Bali
@bert41417 жыл бұрын
kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3ich42Edr5jnsU Australian news station investigated and is estimated that 100.000 dogs are slaughtered each year. but another investigation estimated 200.000. its the barbecue and satay chicken ect that is hard to see
@ferdynand24027 жыл бұрын
Wayne Samuel i know exactly how a dog taste since my father is half chinese half Timor (people who eats dog). I ate it once when i was little and so terified. I love dogs and I can recognize the smell (my father tries to trick me to eat dog meat again several time but fail). And believe me I never been served dog in Bali. That's crazy accusation! Almost sounds like a false and mean campaign against Bali.

I like when you say ' let's continue eating'. Really the food are amazing. Love from Tripura. North eastern part of India.

Absolutely love your videos and the genuine pleasure you get from eating. Going to Bali in September and looking forward to eating some of this incredible food. But please can I borrow your constitution because I’d be running to the toilet with all that food in me! Great stuff Mark! Thank you .

The fresh sambal with shallots is to die for! I could just eat that by itself all day! Had it with roast duck in Ubud a couple of years ago and I was in heaven :-)

Oh yes, CHEAP AMAZING food finally lol. Price range is 1-8 dollars wow. Unlike the videos in Europe 30-200 dollars, i'm sure they're good food but I like them cheap hehe. Nice new series, Mark! As always, will watch every single video.

I am watching all of your Indonesia-videos (and have seen a lot of your others). All the food looks so good! I am Dutch, so we have Indonesian food here also, but it doesn’t resemble what you ate. I would really like to go there! Funny that you are addicted to the sambal. I have a lot of different sambals at home, but they are all mass-produced, so I really want to taste the fresh sambal in Indonesia... Take care!

Is het Klaas of Jan? So, I was born in Holland, too. Met 'n Indische moeder and Dutch father. Lived in Indonesia as a child (dad was in the KNIL). Grew up on Indisch food. I miss my mother's sate, nasi goreng, gado gado, bami, fu yon hai , rawon, to name a few. Mark takes you back to your childhood, like mine, amazing shows. You get addicted. In the middle of this depressing pandemic it is a joy to get your mind off covid and watch Mark Wiens's great food/travel shows. 😋
