I think my favorite part about this ride is after Kylo Ren gets sucked out of the ship and the 'Star Wars Theme' goes into a minor key. That's when you know things are getting real! Great job as always!

This was such a phenomenal ride. I just rode it earlier today and it was amazing. From the acting, the the effects, to the animatronics, it was all on-point. Loved every second of it.

Rode it for the first time today. I was amazed how large the ride and interiors were. Very fast paced, similar track like Ratatouille but way more detail. All I could say at the end was Wow!

I also noticed that it also tracks the time of day that seamlessly flows with the ride. Like, for example, when you ride it at night, the ride tracks the lighting from outside of the ride, so it feels like it’s actually taking off at night once you board the ship. It’s so cool.

Such an experience!! So much detail on set…things to see, touch, and scrutinize! I’m afraid for some people the value of the queue and preshow are lost…that it is all part of the experience and not just window dressing in the queue…but all part of the story being told. My last time to participate in the mission, I was concerned of one youth who was quoting the script along with Lt. Bek on the transport…until in the destroyer bay he yelled, “First Order Scum!” at a couple of the guards!! (then I knew he was really "in the story!!”). In spite of the technical breakdowns and the “effects” they have just given up on (the guns…I am glad that I got to experience it once with them working), this is so well done. Even to have music loops from John Willams keeping you in the story you are living in those moments…being in the story of a Star Wars movie. Excellent capture, 4K!! somthing to “favorite” and return to when I just want to experience this between visits!!

I agree Rick! I really appreciate all the effort that went to this ride. I’m not even a big Star Wars fan, but even love all the details throughout the entire experience and it makes me really happy knowing they went above and beyond! Hopefully some of these broken effects will eventually be fixed though! Thanks so much as always 😃

Rode this last fall. Went to all the Disney and Universal Parks. We rode almost everything. It was definitely one of the best, if not the best, ride of the entire week!

Aww the droid's scream wasn't working when the light Saber came through the ceiling. Good to see that trees are growing in the queue...makes it more like a forest. Are you going to any of the Tron previews 4K? Can't wait for your footage.

Yes! My last few rides on Rise have specifically been right before park close since the wait times can be substantially lower then!

We got so unlucky with this! Both pre-shows weren't working and about half of the special effects for the ride too. Hoping one day to ride it in full operating spec because it seems so fun to do that.

As always, ROTR is an experience/attraction that I would always target on any visit to either American Disney Park Resort.😊 Finally experienced it in-person in California for the very first time back in late December 2022 after Christmas Day and it was a total blast for every second!😄 Despite that I could have done a little better on my "First Order hat disguise" performance (at least that part), who knows, maybe I'll get better reactions from the public around me (especially the cast members) next experience for this same attraction.😅😂 And yes, acting/voice acting is one of my best "hobbies" of all-time.😉 But regardless, it is one of my personal go-to attractions besides quite a few others. Wishing you the best that your coast may get Mando and Grogu/Boba and Fennec characters one day!👍

🔳Love seeing the epic battle against the First Order at night. Thx for staying in the back & getting the whole of Beck's ship activities(gotta luv Beck) Editing this, esp the queue must be harder than it seems. This is the version I wasn't able to do (it was ultimately hopeless😁)& it's ashamed they've given up on those cool😌guns. Are trackless rides better? Some at MMRR at DL are questioning the breakdown rate so🤷🏻‍♂ Such a great memory of DL mornings lol. With respect to yesterday, DAY 55 Sayonara Stargate!! Thx 4💜

It was a fun surprise for me riding & filming this again! I will admit, this ride is pretty exhausting to film & edit lol. There is so much to see and I always want to film literally everything! Trackless rides are definitely a lot of fun but for me personally, nothing is more enjoyable than the classics. As long most vintage rides stick around, I’m ok with trackless rides continuing to be built. It would be nice if they can figure out a way for them not to break down consistently though lol. Haha every day is another day closer to those barges getting removed and destroyed!! 🥳 Lol thanks so much Liz!

That’s great Erik! Wait times seem to consistently be much lower at night so if you have trouble getting on during the day, try a night ride (right before park close)

I remember back when it opened and they were letting us in super early… I knew that wouldn’t last so I went as much as possible and have only been on it a couple of times since. You did a great job filming it… of course! I’m wondering if people guess who you are while filming, you are so professional editing out any personal interactions but I always wonder what goes on between edits. 😃

Haha yep, I remember those days very well! I appreciate the kind words as always. The edits in the ride videos typically are because of a delay in the line so the recording stops until we move again. Also sometimes someone curses or there was a small family altercation, etc and I always try to cut that out too when possible lol. Thanks so much as always!
