I thought Almondo "Muff" was his cousin. He had a good career at UVA. I wish Ron stayed with Football and at UVA. To that point, UVA had the last 3 ACC leaders in passing efficiency. I saw him play both sports and honestly didn't see him as good a bball player. I think he was a big guard with toughness on the high school level but he was special on the gridiron. Best I've seen.

That's because he actually puts work into his videos and is informative, instead of just stringing together a bunch of easily-found clips and not leveling the volume across them like yourself. KTO has much better videos than you. No offense.

Cheshire Cynic wasn't expecting to get roasted, but nice work. And by the way, I do level the volume across my clips. I always check for that.
@cheshirecynic45247 жыл бұрын
You're certainly better than a lot of highlight channels, even with some occasional volume aberration, that's why i made sure to say "no offense." Karsten's THE MAN when it comes to these types of videos, but I've actually watched and enjoyed quite a few of your vids of as well. Thanks for the uploads and the reply!
@HighlightHeaven7 жыл бұрын
Cheshire Cynic np, i know you want to hit that sub button 👀. And yeah KTO is better than me honestly I can agree on that but we have different style and presentation. Some people like a voice over, others like straight game commentary
@cheshirecynic45247 жыл бұрын
For sure, dude, with the older clips and style of videos you do, the original commentary is my preference as well. You might consider doing an intro-outro thing, where you just give a quick run-down of the topic and sort of clips you'll be showing in the video - I feel like that might help give your vids a little more personality and flavor, making your channel stand out over the other highlight channels. Bro, don't beg for subs... It makes you seem desperate... If you take anything from KTO, mirror his uploading philosophy - "Build it, and they will come."

Ronald Curry is still considered the greatest high school football player ever in Virginia. In addition to playing QB, he played defensive back and also returned kicks. He made first-team All-State at all of those positions. In fact, on the Virginia high school coaches all-state team, he was the FIRST-TEAM ALL-STATE QB FOR ALL FOUR YEARS HE PLAYED FOR HAMPTON HIGH! He was overrated as a basketball player, because he couldn't devote enough time to practicing due to spending so much time with football and academics. He also played high school tennis for a year! Imagine Allen Iverson, who he knew, playing high school tennis, which was a "country club sport" back then. LOL. He was a great student, also, so I'm sure he spent a lot of time studying. Playing point guard is a "practice position." If you're 6-11, you don't need to spend as much time practicing, because you're shooting closer to the basket. Ronald Curry peaked as a football player as a high school junior. You'll never see a better punt returner in high school than Ronald Curry was. You had to see it to believe it. Anyway, he went to the wrong college if he wanted to play QB in the NFL. There are coaches known for being able to send QB's to the NFL, and North Carolina is not one of those schools where those coaches are. But, he had a nice NFL career as a wide receiver. I think he played for 8 years, and made millions of dollars. I read that he even overcame TWO torn achilles tendon tears, having to sit out a full year each time. I hear that now he's an NFL assistant coach. Ronald Curry was hated by University of Virginia fans, because supposedly he verbally committed to UVa to play both sports, and then changed his mind and decided to go to rival University of North Carolina. But he seemed like a very classy guy, and he was also religious and humble. So, it all worked out well for Ronald Curry! Note: this is weird, but there has only been one person to play in the NBA and the NFL. The bizarre part is that that person was Bud Grant, who was a famous NFL head coach. From the internet: "Bud Grant appears to be the first and only player who has played in both leagues. He was a first-round selection by the Eagles and a fourth-round pick by the Minneapolis Lakers. He played just two NBA seasons and averaged 2.6 points per game but was a reserve on the Lakers' 1950 championship team. In the NFL, Grant also only played two seasons, but he had a decent run in the CFL and eventually became a legendary coach with the Vikings." Bud Grant hardly looked like a former professional athlete when I saw him on TV. Of course, he played before integration also.

Danny Ainge, Jim Brown and Wilt Chamberlain, and Nate Robinson were ridiculously good athletes, as well. All were at least state players of the year (if not All-American) in multiple sports, played or could have played multiple sports at the D-1 level, and could have been Olympic athletes in sports like track & field. Ainge was recruited and/or drafted to the pros in three sports! Jim brown was an all-American in lacrosse. Other elite high school athletes: Deion Sanders, Tim Tebow, Bo Jackson, Jim Thorpe, Chuck Connors...

Saw his team dominate opposition. 1996 team is by far the greatest high school team I’ve ever seen. What they did to teams was unheard of here in Virginia. To beat the #2 and #3 best team in the state 76-14 and 51-0 is still hard to believe. You had to be there to see it. The 51-0 game wasn’t even that close. “Greatest HS Athlete You’ve Never Heard Of?” Curry was easily the most famous HS athlete in the state of Virginia after only his freshman year; which is extraordinary when you consider that was the same year Thomas Jones’ was breaking every state Rushing record. By the time he was a senior, he wasn’t just famous, he was legendary. Accounting for 84 TD’s in a season will do that.

Highlight Heaven I was saying it sounded like a Mike Korzemba title, but KTO obviously has better videos. But Korzemba had a title similar to this regarding Sebastian Telfair.

You should check out a kid named Akise Teague. He had 2,200 yards and 43 touchdowns in a season while consistently being one of the shortest guys on the field. He won Mr. Football Ohio in 2010. He helped Ursuline HS win three straight state championships. And then he fucked it all up.
