Fun fact. 4minute were one of the FIRST kpop groups to promote in Japan and pave the way. Even collaborating with Thelma Aoyama! Too bad they did it so early and unprepared. They should've been way bigger there

Techically, it's a fact because "one of the first" is an ambiguous term. It's not really a fact though. Rain, BoA (practically lived there), Shinhwa all were in the early to mid-2000s touring in Japan. Edit: correcting spelling

Well actually tvxq/dbsk debuted in Japan in 2005 which way before 4minute was created. There has been a lot of groups that either toured collaborated or debuted in Japan under a Japanese name like tvxq who were know as toshinki. I love 4minute but they weren’t one of the first.

I hate to burst your bubble but it was TVXQ who really promoted first in Japan and they collaborated with Koda Kumi too, their main source of income was Japan and they still out in minutes... they had a huge career there (and still do)
