1. Jiyoon (green hair) was the lead vocal, but "lead" means the one who leads into the main vocal. The main vocal was Gayoon (walking past camera). These two actually formed a subgroup called 2Yoon, which released a single song - an American country-inspired track, if you can believe it, entitled "24-7." 2. The girl with the veil is Sohyun, the maknae of the group, and the leader (molesting the backup dancers towards the end) was Jihyun. Finally, the one who showed up on camera the most was Hyuna, who was definitely the most popular one in the group; CUBE, at least, favored her. You might recognize her as the woman on the train in Psy's "Gangnam Style., 3. As someone else mentioned, the group disbanded when they could not reach an agreement with CUBE after their contracts ended. Jihyun and Gayoon went into acting, Sohyun went into show hosting (I think), Jiyoon became a solo singer under the name "Jenyer," and Hyyna stayed with CUBE as a solo artist. She also did collaboration projects, notably Triple H with a couple of members of the boy group Pentagon. She was also secretly dating one of these guys, E'Dawn, at the time, and CUBE fired them both when it was revealed publicly. Both Hyuna and E'Dawn (who now goes by just Dawn) eventually joined Psy's new company, P Nation. 4. If you like 4Minute, take a look at their older stuff; I particularly like "Volume Up " You should also check out "Hate." It was their last title track before disbandment, and it was produced by Skrillex.

loved your reaction, especially that you noticed the fashion in this vid. One of the 4min members, Gayoon was their visual director and picked out the fashion styles for each member herself. This type of style is still popular now, she was definitely ahead of the curve when she picked this stuff out. As you liked Jiyoon, I really think u'd like her song "magnet" that she released as a solo artist. For 4minute songs, Volume Up is my favorite for them. It's a great song, and also when Gayoon first started styling them as opposed to before.

The big breathrough song for 4minute is "Bubble Pop", which was even parodied on 'The Family Guy'. Cube Entertainment disbanded the group after contract renewal negotiations broke down and 4 of 5 artists left the label. Apparently Cube were wanting to preference Hyuna (the main visual of the group) over the other members. 4Minute was referred often to by some KPop netizens 'Hyuna and her back-up group'. Hyuna remained at Cube as solo releasing songs such as 'Red' & 'Lip & Hip'. Hyuna's contract with Cube was cancelled in late 2018 after it was disclosed she was dating a member of a Cube boy KPop group 'Pentagon' called 'E'Dawn' (know known just as 'Dawn') (his contract with Cube was also cancelled). In early 2019 Hyuna & Dawn were signed as the 2nd & 3rd artists to Psy's (Yes, that Psy of 'Gangnam Style' fame (Hyuna is the Music video)) new record label P-nation. In early November 2019 Hyuna & Dawn jointly released new come back singles. Hyuna's song is called 'Flower Shower' & Dawn's song is called 'Money.

Hello! I recently found your channel with your blackpink kill this love reaction video. 4minute was the first kpop group I heard/saw and loved them immediately. recommendation- the song/video "volume up" , it is the most non kpop video you will ever see, it is amazing. you will love it. as for the band disbanding, from some things I read, 4minute was popular overseas but were not the top in Korea itself and some top management were unhappy with that. Jiyoon (green hair girl) is still singing, her KZbin channel is "Jenyer official" if you're interested. congratulations on 10k subscribers, you earned it!

yay another CUBE group, this awesome group belonged to the family of artist that (G)I-dle and CLC are also in, that style of rapping they use is very CUBE (or maybe just very Hyuna (an Iconic member of 4minute is solo now in another label called P-nation)) I also realy like their track called "hate" but dont know much else about them, hope your journey can guide me to know them more

I'm sorry to hear about the Babymetal videos. Unfortunately it seems that many Japanese companies are super aggressive with their copyright claims and have absolutely no concept of fair use. Not to say western companies aren't, just the Japanese are on another level.

You could always react to BabyMetal or any other ones you have problems with on another platform and link and sync to them . We see and hear your reaction to them but hear and see them in another window . There is quite a few reactors doing this . you should find a list on your BabyMetal reactions in the comments to these other platforms 🤘😁🤘

japanese labels are pretty strict in terms of copyright so it's not just baby metal. kpop is ok as long as you stick to mvs and not live broadcasts. the only rock/metalish girl group in kpop is dreamcatcher \o/ so you should check them out. their 2019 releases are 'piri' and 'deja vu' but all their songs are good. 4minute use to be my favorite group and I was crushed when they disbanded(most groups don't last beyond the standard 7 year contract). had it not been for dreamcatcher I probably wouldn't really be following kpop today.

Yeah be careful with japanese videos in general they are very strict in copyright issues, unlike in kpop. Just put copyright stuff in your patreon instead 😎 They are a korean group, one of the more edgy awesome groups in kpop. Yes their names are on their hats. The disbandment was apparently cuz others wanted to do other stuff rather than stick with the group which became a controversy cuz the most popular member Hyuna wanted to go solo which upset the other girls who thought the group would continue 😎

What happened was, ugly at the end. Like many band they came up against the "seven year curse". They were coming up on their resigning, and the company was playing hard ball. They were saying, 4Minute never made money, even though, at the time, they were Cubes best band. The rumor was that the whole band decided not to resign, but Hyuna stayed with Cube. The rest of the band unfriended Hyuna, and cut all ties with her.

If you mean everyone “unfriended” Hyuna on social media .. well, Hyuna was never following the girls on Instagram - she followed no one while they all followed her. So yes they did unfriend when they left the group. People have this weird notion that every kpop group HAS to be friends with each other. When in reality, it’s just a job most of the time, especially in the kpop industry.
