This is the song that got me into Kpop. I found it randomly on KZbin and was absolutely amazed by it. One of my favorite songs of all time! I listen to it at least once a day because it is so hype! Ji Yoon is my bias! She is such a badass and I love her style of rapping. When you get a chance you will definitely have to check out the video for Hate and there is a bside called Canvas that is one of my favorites too.

I found this Group while Listening to HyunA and they popped up on suggested videos... As a matter of fact, this very song was at the top of the suggestions... I don't regret checking it out... I myself am rather new to K-POP (almost a year and a half now, I believe) and I love seeing the Progression in reverse as Ben called it... You can definitely see the Influence of groups like 4minute in the current Groups... It's kind of that "So That's where it came from!" kinda Moment... I always enjoy Ben's reactions because they are one of the most Sincere you'll see in regards to whatever he's watching... If he Loves it, you know immediately and he does not throw negativity even if he didn't really like it as much... If I recall, the first reaction I had seen of His was "Egotistic" by my favorite K-Music Group, MAMAMOO... I've been a Fan since... Keep rocking it, Good Sir... 🤘🏼

Hate is also excellent, probably my personal favorite from them and one of my favorites of all time. Fun fact Hyuna wrote CLC’s Hobgoblin and was creative director for that comeback which pushed them into the stronger girl crush style, so you can definitely see 4minutes influence on them

One of my first girl groups. They were the it for me. I watched all their comebacks as they came out. I was so heartbroken when they disbanded. When they did this song and Hate they didn’t get a lot of national popularity for it, even though their international fan base absolutely loved it, Cube decided to abandon the group. Only Hyuna resigned. But now she is with Pat’s label thank god. It was a sad day. They were so huge too. Thanks for reacting to them. The definitely deserved the love.

You still have one Cube group to check: Beast. Them and 4Minutes was the 1st bg and 1st gg from Cube. Both debuted in the same year, 2009. Also Beast was one of the most successful bg of 2nd gen. Now you can know them as Highlight (they left Cube and made their own company and they rebranded their name from Beast to Highlight because Cube still has a rights to the name Beast). Songs that I recommend you to check from Beast is Beautiful Night or 12:30. Also thank you for checking 4Minutes. This gg was a really uniq in kpop and I am still missing them a lot.

Did you know that Cube produces beast group. Check out 4Minute, Beast and Btob... Who are legendary Cube groups. Did you not noticed how the genes of clc, gidle and Pentagon got it from their seniors. Many didn't noticed Cube groups but they one of the GEM of KPOP

4Minute consisted out of 4 Members (Gayoon, HyunA, Sohyun, Jiyoon, Jihyun) They debuted 2009 under Cube Entertainment with Hot issue. They sadly disbanded in 2016. 4 of them left Cube Entertainment, but HyunA stayed. She had a solo debut in 2010 with change. She was huge in the Kpop Industrie. HyunA later confirmed to be dating E'dawn from Pentagon. They were forced to leave Cube Entertainment and then joined P-Nation (Entertainment from Psy) where HyunA und E'dawn or now known as Dawn continued making music. HyunAs comeback was Flower Shower and Dawns debut was with the song Money. Hits of 4Minute are : Hate Crazy Whatcha doin' today What's your name? Volume up Hot issue

Fun Fact: 4Minute garnered a lot of comparisons to 2NE1, but they were actually set to debut earlier than 2NE1. Soyu from Sistar was originally in Sohyun’s (the maknae’s) place, but Soyu was dropped last minute in favor of Sohyun. Sohyun was only 14 when she joined 4Minute.
