We have both the 4moms and a cheap graco pack and play. To be honest, the 4moms is too big, bulky, and heavy compared to the graco. Yes the 4moms is faster to set up, but it takes maybe a minute longer to setup the cheap graco one, not really a deal breaker. The graco sizing is a lot smaller and lighter. The quality of the 4moms is definitely better, but the weight and size, especially on a road trip or air travel can be cumbersome. The only real benefit I see for the 4moms is the bigger size of the mattress, it's at least three inches biger than a standard pack and play, so if your child is longer s/he will be more comfortable. The downside to this, standard mattress covers and toppers do not fit. After about the age of one, your child will likely prefer a mattress topper to make the 4moms playard more comfortable, the one that comes with it is not very comfortable. Also, if you follow the manufacture specs, you're not going to get five years out of it as the max weight is 30lbs. If you have a small child you may get three years out of it.
