One update. There are the factory clips that are built in to top part that you reuse. I noticed the passenger side in the corner kept popping out about 1/4” or less when I drive. I removed one of the pins and got it to line up with zip ties. Not sure if I didn’t get the clip back in correct, but it was in and I had movement. Now I have it tight. Things to keep in mind because there is those “body painted” clips on the upper. Hope that helps.

I got this one because the letters screw in. Definitely set the letters 1st before tightening and use blue tape to mark the top of the "O". Then I added some crazy glue on the screws to adhere to the plastic when I tighten the letters down. Hope that helps.

I have a question. If I am installing the OEM heritage cover, do I need the adhesive promoter? It did not come with it. But was curious if that is necessary?

You will be fine without it as long as you mounted to a clean surface.

4Runners are pretty new to me, but I’ve been doing some research over the past couple of months. I’ve had five jeep wranglers and one gladiator and I think it’s time to make the switch. My question is if I want to do a small build, nothing crazy what’s the best trim level to start with? I’ve heard Trd off-road premium? That still gives you all the off-road goodies without the roof rack and the appearance stuff, correct?

I had a cheap bumper garnish that flew off on the Highway. It irritated me that I constantly had to re tape it. Does the upper grille hold the garnish down and back?

Installed mine last week, no lights heard that many people have issues with them. Either burning out or electrical issues with the computer and fuse box.

It's going to take a bit of force. I would park your truck in the sun for a bit before trying to remove it. That should help.

Any concerns with connecting to the IGN fuse? I have read some stories on other forums where people say to avoid the ignition fuse due to if it blows you’ll get stuck without being able to drive the vehicle. Personally was considering using the TAIL fuse as a result but curious your thoughts since some are saying they will turn off when you turn your low beams off as well.

The TAIL fuse will be fine as long as that fuse location gets power only when the ignition is on. Some people have issues using the IGN fuse location but most times it's install error or a faulty fuse tap. You can use a different location if you're more comfortable with that.

Instead of using a fuse tap, use a wire tap and tap into the wire at your running light bulb.

Other videos on KZbin show that you can tap into the fuse box right next to your battery instead of going through the firewall just seems like it’s easier installation doing it that way.

If you want to do that then you need to cut an opening for the wire or drill a hole. Otherwise the lid will not close properly or you will probably cut the wire in the process of trying to close it.

My dealer said the stock Toyota grill on the 2023 SR5 premium is a safety sensor. They were going to charge me $600 (2500 total for parts and labor) just to reconfigure the sensor after installing the new predator style grill. How would I handle that sensor with your product/installation?

Our grille does not require you to mess with the safety sensor. That is also a ridiculous price to install a grille.
