Here's Kuumba at its ethical and creative best reinterpreting a spiritual with the unique talents of the outstanding classically trained undergraduates. I'd love to know what this outstanding cellist is up to now. Yo-yo Ma's alma mater is connected to Horace Greeley High School, my alma mater via a young man that I used to ride into Manhattan School of Music with on Saturdays back in 1992-1993. #itooamkuumba #itooamharvard #DATApower @harvfoun Haven Jones LeShae Henderson #Kuumba45th #SOULpowerisBACK

I have no respect for people who talk during performances of any kind. You're being rude to the people who trained years to sing like this and days to practice this song. Youre being rude to the people who want to listen to this masterpiece. You're being rude to the composer, saying their song isnt good enough for you to be quiet for it. Youre being rude to the conductor who helped these people along the struggles of learning this song and making it perfect, and youre being rude to yourself, who'd rather talk about your bad day than make it a special one by listening to this gorgeous song. Leave the room if youre going to talk, or simply be a decent person and dont talk. The people talking in this video ruined the video and probably some people around them's enjoyment.

I agree. They are being rude to the person sitting in seat #1. They are being rude to the person in seat #2. They are being rude to the person in seat #3. They are being rude to the person in seat #4. They are being rude to the person in seat #5. They are being rude to the person in seat #6. They are being rude to the person in seat #7. In fact they are being rude to all of the people in all of the seats in all of the buildings of the world!!!!!

@@lindalawon9151 Literally, this is what helps me get through my bad days of depression. This is what helps people who are disabled. Fuck off with your "Everything is fixable if you work at it!" attitude because some things you _can't._ Some things you have to have faith that there will be a better tomorrow. Not everyone is the heroine of the story. Some of us have to have help to escape a shitty situation.
