Makes you think it's just greenwashing. Just ticking a box for green credentials or some sort of planning requirements but totally unsuitable for expected use. We have a new supermarket that's green with 10 x 7kw chargers installed for customers who spend 20mins max shopping - they don't get any use - could have had a single fast charger. The opposite of your hotel issue. Totally agree with your comments about Tesla superchargers, never any toilets or 24/7 food.

If the people who install the charge points have set out to make things as complicated as possible, then they've done a good job. In a petrol station, it couldn't be simpler - in and out in no time, pay card or cash and they're usually under cover if it's raining. And at a charge point with a caravan in tow it could be a real pain; having to unhitch the caravan and leave it somewhere. They'll have to try harder than this if they want to convert petrol heads to EVs. Good video though.

Yes, I totally agree. It's absolutely possibly to be easier than petrol though, plug and charge works very well on fastned for example, not really much slower with a RFID card either. I don't think an EV is a realistic choice for towing a caravan yet, but I expect to see them with a generator or battery soon.
