Those new parts look great I’m just wary of Chinese made parts. I’m glad to know about the heavy duty CV’s though! 👍

Great video About to do the same to my 09 Just wondering where you are getting the tork specs from?
@SlothKingGarageАй бұрын
Sweet! There's some 4th gen 4runner forums that people have listed all of the torque specs on. There's also this site called Tighttorque.com They'll have the specs on the 4runner. When you click on "Torque specs" it'll be under "cars", not "trucks" for some odd reason

My son's '04 doesn't have the notches on the axle (my '08 does). Any suggestion what our options are for banging it out on the '04?

Interesting, I'm surprised it doesn't. Well, in that case, there's actually a CV axle puller. It's a slide hammer with a axle puller adapter. You should be able to rent it from Autozone or O'Reilly's. Or, you can gently wedge a prybar between the CV axle and the differential case. Tap it with a hammer and it should pop loose. (Just be careful not to mar the surface up). To make it a little easier, have one of you pulling on the axle and the other wedging the prybar in. Either of those methods should remove it
