*FOR FUTURE MAINTAINERS* Taking off the abs sensor is unnecessary, just be careful around it. In an attempt to very carefully remove mine it cracked due to old age. The rest of the maintenance shown is great but this step can be skipped. It cost 300$ to replace it myself.

Absolutely love your guys videos, they help tremendously! I experienced wobble in the front end, thought ball joints were bad. Jacked it up, and noticed the passenger wheel would turn then stick. Thought bad caliper. Removed caliper and still had the problem. Hub would turn then stick, I mean almost like a binding. Now it's either the axle, or the transfer case. Any of you guys experienced this before? New one on me. Oh, and put new wheel bearings in last year, so I'm eliminating that, for now. It also has a 2 inch over stock coil over installed. I will be putting new upper A arms to adjust for this extended coil over. Would like to know what ya think, thanks! One more thing, it's a 2007, gen 4. Ever seen the transfer case stick on one side before?

Great vid. Did you refill any lost fluid when you pulled the old axle out?

Yes you need to put gear oil back into the front differential. OEM fluid from toyota is best but anvil makes a synthetic equivalent that is half the price. You need 1.7 qts.

Great instructions but anyone doings this do NOT use TRQ cv axles. OEM only

On the 1a video you torqued the axle nut to 203ft lbs...which is correct?

Don’t need to remove caliper, abs sensor, backer plate, etc.to remove axel.

The video is ok for replacement , but the frickin boots have no quality, I trust on this brand until I gave one, after 8 months the boots going out , was broke , I don't recommend it
