Thanks for making this video and showing us this kit. I might get this and replace the stock brakes since they give me a weird vibration between 2000 to 3000 RPM. I don’t think it’s the rotors are brake pads, something else in the brake system causing it like vacuum pressure or brake booster or something.

Bought the 23 awd turbo Mazda 3. The one thing that bothered me was that it needs better stopping power. Buying this kit to upgrade for sure plus it looks sexy.

Hello Jerome. I run the Evo pads and rotors and it's pretty much a street pad. EBC yellows will probably balance you out pretty well. Nice install. A proportioning valve will probably help to balance the fluid flow from front to rear.

Will it clear the oem 18x7 with 45mm offset? Thank you for the video, the mazda 3 turbo doesn’t stop well with the original brakes.

No, it won't clear. You will need at least a 12mm spacer with the oem wheels.

I’m about to do this on my coworkers car and I did the same thing where I put it off the the side to test the fitment with the rims and was like shit I’m going to do this when I do it so I don’t lose as much break fluid

Would a rim that's 18x7.5 with an offset of +42 need a spacer? Just for future reference.

Yes, you would need a spacer.

Those specs cleared on my wheels, but not all wheels are designed the same. Download the corksport template and check.

where do i get new pads if needed and or new rotors if i destroy the ones i would buy i cant find where to buy replacment rotors and pads

The easiest way to get replacement pads and rotors is to go through Corksport. All you have to do is give their customer service a call and they can order replacements... The more involved way would to do some cross referencing. The pad design appears to be AP Racing. If you look up AP Racing pad profile CP3215D50 you will find a bunch of pads we can use. Hawk, EBC, Ferodo, Pagid,PFC01, etc... For replacement rotor rings you will need to just look up the rotors specs to find replacements (330mm and thickness). For the rotors, I think its easier to just go through Corksport.

Wheels are 18x8 offset +35. Tires are 215/45R18

The BBK is .25 lb lighter than the Turbo Model OEM brakes and only 1 lb heavier than the non-turbo model OEM brakes... The weight is able to stay down by the calipers being aluminum and the rotors being two piece.

How much did those big brakes slow your car down?

If you taking about weight, It haven't slow it down at all. These are two piece rotors and aluminum capliers. They might looks heavy but weight damn near the same as the oem set up... If you taking about stopping power, its shocking how much of a improvement they are. Car legit stops on a dime (depends on how sticky the tires are, of course).
