Or, you can just install your original fan motor into the Dorman fan. Then the harness and plug will be clocked where they should be. Then use a few zip ties to secure it, and you won't have to go through all that trouble tearing everything apart. I made a small block off plate to cover the hole for that resistor, but it is not really necessary.

So your saying that the resister if we leave it, the fan is gana work but only low speed? I had heard it was some sort of climate deal that detect the heat of the engine so it will engage.... TIA 0:39
