Each year your show will grow and grow. I also liked lightning along with some of the other new cakes BIG had this year. If I had more time and materials I should have and would have supported everything. I've never had a cake tip over actually, but doesn't mean I shouldn't be safe about it.

Oh yeah I know. We were going to burn off the shoot site and hose it down with water for awhile, but literally a couple hours before the shoot we had a pretty bad storm come through, so mother nature actually helped us out.

To keep the exposed fuse from lighting during the rest of the show. Also to keep the fuse from jumping. Since we were using different speed fuse, we didn't want the next row of shells to light before the first row got down. The foil helps prevent that.

I was stating the largest shell is less than two inches so 200 feet to the audience is a safe distance.

I actually had my camera set up on a tripod looking at the mortars during the finale, but I had a friend video tape from the audience

I've seen it at several local stands, but I got it at the fireworks superstore in Hannibal, Mo for $20

Hey thanks a lot! We aren't aloud aerial fireworks either, but I get away with it. I wrote down the prices of everything I bought, so if you are interested in a certain item just send me a private message and Ill let you know. $40 a pack of Excaliburs is a pretty good deal. I buy mine retail for $45.

Hey man love your videos..they always get me really excited for the fourth around this time of year. You should offer some tips/good cakes/shells for people trying to do shows on a budget.

I buy them all. I don't have the expertise to build my own shells yet. I also think it's more expensive to build your own shells at the consumer level.

BEAST! my finale was small it was 300 saturn missiles and across the universe which is a 205 shot at the same time iwas goin to make a vid but forgot my camera

Love the videos! You sure had an amazing setup. Out here in California we aren't aloud to have any aerial fireworks. When do we get to see the show? Any chance you'll do a price breakdown video and total it up for us? I was researching pro shells and excalibur shells and i found a company in Nevada that sells them for $160 per case of 4. what are your thoughts on that?

Nice stash and setup. I am jealous for sure but maybe next year or 2 I will have something similar. I see you had one of those "lightning" cakes from big. I thought that one was pretty nice. Also , you didn't brace a lot of those cakes? You don't have any problems with them tipping? Anyhow nice setup....

Nope, still have the poor man racks. As long as the tubes stay intact I keep them. I have plenty of storage space!
