Team USA had been practicing together and yet had no chemistry. The turnovers were insane. Team WNBA had few hours of practice together and cooked them. The Olympic selection committee is looking like an idiot now with all the reasons they gave for not picking Caitlin Clark. The selection committe should be pick by an independent panel, not by the coaches. And the coach should not be a wnba current coach. All corrupt as i see it. Forget all the reasons that have come out why most of the other women players hate her , the main reason is MONEY , she is earning and has potential earnings in the near future that will be far above most players in the WNBA . Caitlin has a degree in Business and marketing (coincidence ? I don't think so ) and she is applying that to her self , She has created a Foundation , she is building a legacy around herself . The WNBA leaders bias kept CC and Angel off the USA team. I guess they forgot it was supposed to be about winning the Olympics for the USA. It looks like all the decisions of the WNBA are based on racism, jealousy, and keeping the "old tired guard" in place even if it means sacrificing our national honor. It is embarrassing to see the league is allowed to embarrass themselves and discriminate against some of the best players. The result from the Olympics were an embarrassment because of their biased choices. And it is not just the old players - it is the old coaches. And the coaches should be held accountable for the violence. Collectively the old guard is responsible for the WNBA losing money every year. And all you hear from the sub par players is "we want more money". They are not all good basketball players, the coaches are sub par, and thery are all terrible business people. CC and a few others are the way forward - but the changes need to start with firing most of the coaches and get people who know how to build the league. What matters is giving the public an exciting product - and to be ethical in how the game is played. CC fills seats. Wake up WNBA.
