Up until now, I had most of my birds returning every race. But this was a tough pill.

Sometimes when your camera is facing the sky I think I see a bird. Then I realize how dirty my iPad screen is.😂😂😂

You may have explained but once more, what do you do with all of the pigeons that aren't yours? I know you let them feed but do you turn them loose and they go off?

I lost a lot of really great birds, my friend. Not only the bad weather, but the winds were terrible and bird to finish. That race is really special.

@ I hope they stop releasing the birds in bad weather really doesn’t worth it. Months you trained them and don’t want to lose them like that.

Make sure the birds are fed an amout that won’t weigh them down but give them plenty of energy to come home quickly. The amount depends on a lot of different factors, including how long they flew the day before the temperature outside and the type of food you feed.

My club only allows 68. I’m not sure if it’s because of the size of the carrying boxes and the number of boxes on the trailer but that’s all they will let us bring.
