He didn't overhau and rebuild an HBCU. We hired a bad coach and during Covid we decided to keep the interim until we knew how things would shake out during the pandemic, then the AD rolled the dice on Prime, and it worked out. But the program has had a winning tradition for almost 5 decades. Yes, he turned around a P5 program, but in some ways it should be expected if you take your two 4-star recruits with you and you have all of sports media behind you

With 21 seniors leaving no one will never believe he will have a starting freshman QB, 10 or more wins, bowl game and CU will be in the playoffs next season.

I am white and I agree with Cam. If Black coaches got a fair chance like White coaches they would excell. Look at all those HBCU coaches back in the day, that produced NFL Hall of Famers, some considered the GOAT at their position. White universities it's a good ole boy system. Look at AUBURN & FSU as PRIME examples. Auburn is failing under Hugh Freeze and they had a shot to get Deion, he was with Under Armour already. FSU just dropped the ball completely and quiet frankly, Prime will not go to them now(Danny Kanell stamped that). Now let's see if the Raiders will drop the ball or give Deion what he wants to leave Colorado and come coach his son in NFL

If you truly been paying attention since the beginning primes got his hands in over a hundred million dollars a year at Colorado, why would he leave that to go to a pro team for 10 maybe 20 million dollars a year if he's lucky? I'll answer that he won't. Now if someone lays out a path to ownership ultimately that'll be the pro team that Dion goes to, short of that, he's going to be content staying at Colorado at least 5 years and maybe longer.

Fsu ain't near ready for this level of change. That's what breaks my heart. As a day one from diapers..watching Prime play and as an Alum..its devastating to see the complacency and the real reason why we're not ready...we'd rather lose in public than to gain this level of leadership that looks VERY different from our past. They're NOT READY. Nor is the world for very obvious reasons. As Coach Prime says... Come on dawg keep it 💯 💪🏾 All about life lessons and college coaches playing the numbers game with student athletes

Did we forget the late Coach Eddie Robinson of Grambling State University, Grambling, LA

Glazing to the maximum. He hasn't beat one team that finished as a top 25 team in 3 yrs of coaching, but he's the best in cfb. Pandering for views

I’ve been asking people for years what is someone like Nick Saban gonna teach a young cornerback about being great that Deion couldn’t?
@sreprezents2 күн бұрын
Yeah, Florida State literally fumbled the bag. All they had to do was make Prime an assistant coach and go from there.

he didnt want to be an assistant he was already helping them recruit for free

Wasn’t going to be a assistant. He wants control. Props to Deion💪🏽

It doesn’t matter if he didn’t win. Look at how far he brought the program in the time that he has been there and he is not just for football he is ensuring his guys have the tools and drive to succeed at life and the guy in the red and blue was saying what
