Yeah my mileage is always hard to calculate when I have driven less than 50 miles. I know my Mazda B4000 gets around 17 mpg but when I calculate it at less than 50 miles I have gotten anywhere between 10 and 20 on my calculation.

that's not a very good mpg for this car is my initial thought - should be very good on a hot day; has to be at least 25mpg if nothing is way off? or am I wrong about the SR5? one of the reasons I would drive is because it's a bangin' modern classic and the good mpg's

I had a Tercel in high school and I think that's about what it got for mpg's. The 90's Tercel's and later models Echo and Yaris had much better gas mileage. We had a 2001 Echo that averaged 35-40 mpg. Best mpg we ever saw was in Yellowstone National Park. Speed limit was around 55 mph and we got 50 mpg for that tank of fuel.
