Another great video but the volume of that background music makes it hard for us hearing impaired to enjoy it anywhere as much as someone with normal hearing would enjoy it .

Good video guys, but from someone who has done many, many K's on all sand conditions, people get caught up with the "!8lb, !6lb !4lb" figures they hear others using. It is NOT about the actual pressure, it is getting the tyres to "bag" out at the bottom....if thats 20lb, great, ...or sometimes it may be 12lb. I have had to go as low as 4lb on some powder sand so the bagging was more substantial. Very careful straightline driving required at very low pressures of course) What I am saying is its not a numbers thing, its a visual thing, and its easier NOT to get bogged than getting yourself out and adjusting to conditions....Keep up the good work troops....

I spoke to the beach tour guys at the north end of Stockton Beach. They run the same size tyre 305/70R19.5 with a road tread pattern. The run about 18psi but they are probably a little lighter than you are. I have an NPS with 285/70R19.5’s Goodrides and they told me to start at around 25psi and to drop one point at a time till I was happy.

They are great guys that run the beach tours, the owner is friends of ours. There are so many variables with tyres. we run Founders which are a flotation tyre which will require more pressure than the Goodrides which is more of a truck tyre. The lowest i would go with the Founders would be 20 psi. What pressure did you settle with? How have the Goodride tyres been, it would be good to get an honest opinion.

Another good video mate. We settled on similar tyre pressures in deep hot soft sand in the Finke River NT , I’m on 35” goodride tyres on 19.5 rims and heavy! Looking forward to your next vid. Cheers Tim

Did I hear you say you were in high range? If you went to low range and dumped another 10 psi out you might have been able to drive it out. Good effort, however basic rule of thumb, if the sand is hard hi-range is fine. If the sand gets soft go to low range and down to 25psi

We were in low at the time, yeah we found lowering the pressure works a treat 👍

What pressures do u run on corrugated tracks?

it's a Polaris, it has Hema maps and carplay. it's designed to handle off road conditions. I have done a video on it on our youtube page. 👍

Just a quick comment. I know the price of gear goes up on a daily basis..if you can give prices of what you are talking about eg Tyres , seats , springs, at the time you got them . Ok just say tyres $8,000 but that was 9 months ago so it may have gone up a bit bye now. I'm just asking that's all

Hey mate, we purchased our truck as a package through ATW. Not sure what each item cost however our entire build and truck was around 185k, this does not include the fit out which we did our self's. Cheers
