Along for the ride we've got big GUs and GQs on 35s and a twin-locked V8 Cruiser, but even those are no match for the slipperiest, steepest tracks of the Great Divide.

Davo george I can't speak to why the 30 is not running but it's nice to see more people comment about the driving. Not to pile on Shauno but I feel people watch what he does and think it's normal or good but it is isn't. He mostly just tenses up and puts his boot down. Which is not really something you want to emulate unless your truck is a weekend beater that you expect to roll over often.

Love all your videos guys, great job as always. I've got a 2011 GU Patrol, not into serious 4wd action like you guys, spend most of the time on the beaches. Speaking of beaches, the amount of stranded, bogged, half buried would-be adventurers I come across in the shiny 'AWD' vehicles is incredible. Perhaps you guys should do a short segment about the difference between AWD and 4WD vehicles and the limitations of said AWD's. Or even get your mits on a variety of AWD'S and see how far you can get them on sand, rock, boggy mud etc.... It'd be funny if nothing else 😉

Seen you use the MaxTrax in several episodes. I like the recent addition of the tails for them to make them easier to find when they get buried. A trick that I have seen that is especially useful if you are travelling over a long section of soft sand when you get stuck, and stopping to get the maxtrax would mean you would get stuck again, is to attach a rope to a high point on the back of the vehicle to the maxtrax. Then when you have got going again, the maxtrax will get plucked out of the sand and follow behind you until you can stop on harder stuff to recover them.

You boys should try Mt Neville nature reserve it’s hidden about 30 minutes south of casino Nsw. It’s got some doozy hills and killer tracks and I’ve never seen another car or bike there ever. I’ve had to clear many trees from there over the years.

Hey, love the videos, always great to watch. One question though, why don't you wire the winch controls to cabin, or use radio remote? It's always messing with the wired control and plugging in the cable etc. Cheers!
