I was doing some 4x4 in AZ in a 00' Jeep TJ. 4" lift, 33s, auto, otherwise stock. Drove up a steep rocky hill, rear tire slid into a hole, PF tire went about 4ft into the air and I was teetering half sideways on a steep edge. The park was about to close and everyone was leaving. I honked out SOS because if I got out it would have rolled for sure. Couldn't go forward or backwards. Thankfully a few MUCH APPRECIATED people came over and helped me out of the situation. I figure it would have rolled at least half a dozen times if not more.😬🙈 You've got to love the helping nature of the 4x4 community. 18 years ago we were in a 4wd convoy of about 8 vehicles up in Mt Disappointment. Hubby had brought a chopped 60 twin cab we had our 2 year old and 12 week old in their car seats in the back (which we did quite often the kids were brought up 4wding) We were climbing a steep incline when we stalled and slid backwards in gear with air lockers on. We slid back a fair way and just rested on a skinny tree which was the only thing stopping us from plummeting down the side of the mountain. With people running everywhere and yelling and shouting and trying to physically hold the car while we hooked up the winch we had to open the back car windows and pass the babies out the back window to safety with the car only just holding on. I was beside myself with absolute fear!! Definitely the most scariest 4wd experience in our travel group.

Hi My name is Chris, my most terffiying moment was, I had a 100 series Landcruiser 105 it was petrol no snorkel. My dad wanted to sell it and I jumped straight at it and bought it off him for 10k. It was my first 4wd, we use to go to my local tracks all the time. One day we did the whole track and smashed it and I was way over confident. It only had a 2 inch liftwith standard all terrain tires but it was awesome, it went everywhere. I came up to this wicked puddle and I full throttle into thinking I'll be ok, then water came over the bow and the car sucked in water and blew the motor, filled up with water then I had to climb out from the window, onto the roof and open boot from the back to get my friends out. not one of my performance, then I bought For Maverick sold that and now in a mean 80 and IM BACK For revenge haha. Hello from Turkey İstanbul, Jocko your sucuk and ekmek pronunciation is very correct indeed! We have a meal called sucuk ekmek. It is very popular, easy meal after long touring days and skiing.

The laughs and how pissed they are at the cook ups on camp gets me every time

Damo reminding everyone to pack less camping gear and more tyre. When you’re the one pulling all the tourers out, you don’t need to worry about keeping your beers cold!

We pissed ourselves laughing. The amount of times they must have needed to do another take. Educational and hilarious. Love you guys!

My sketchiest moment was in my LWB Sierra dropping down a steep rutted track in Bunyip. Slowly crawling down, straddling the ruts, drivers side front wheel dropped in. Ended up standing the Zuk on its nose, all wheels off the ground half way down the hill. Quick gentle winch backwards onto all fours. 100m later almost did it again

Watching this reminds me why I have always owned a Defender ( not that I needed Reminding).

So you have a use for the oil drip mat that covers the driveway😂

I must be very lucky, my current one doesn't drip oil. It did when I got it, a new oil filter and correct fitment fixed it in no time.
