Nah I disagree, this Zook is a SWB already, jimneys are so popular already theres loads of people out there going to be doing this so it wont be anything special. personally I feel they should get a Grand Vitara (5 door) which is longer and therefore a midway between this zook and their usual LWB's and would be a great little addition to see what and how it fairs with them for a few trips. by the way, I've seen 10x more vids of Grand Vitaras recovering Jimneys than the other way around :) Hence why I made my mind to change from being interested in buying a jimney to a GV

@@jameswild8335 Nice one man, not sure where you live but in the UK there are some quite short width ''green lanes'' which are far more suited or Jimneys and perhaps Vitaras as well, but definitely a risk with Landies etc. If these guys bought a jimney it would definitely be nice to see what they do with it also in terms of mods as all the jimneys I see just seem too sparkling for the lack of a better term, I want to see a rugged (even if new) one but with typical 4WD Action upgrades and winches etc Cheers buddy

26:31 - Front auto locker binding ... didn't you take out the locker and replace it with an open front centre the day before? At 15:50 Shaun comments "... no locker, but we'll have four wheel drive..." Or did you change the crown gear on the locker and replace it? Some more detail and commentary on the repairs you make would be good. Same thing in the last Zook video when you lost front drive - zero explanation on what actually went wrong, and how you fixed it. Other than that, love the 4WD action ... and it may be R&D, but I still think you're nuts dragging a boat anchor through that kind of terrain.
@waynedevantier62476 жыл бұрын
problem is running standard suzuki suspension. This causes wheel lift and shock loading of drive line when one wheel finally contacts the ground, hence breakage of u.j. joints or differential. Solution is modifying all spring shackles to double the length with a pin in centre and swaping front shock absorbers with toyota corolla rear shocks- this makes the suspension way more softer with more travel. The other trucks in this vid have some serious mods
