On the note of smith machines - Zydrunas Zavickas also swore by smith machine presses as being a big component in building his shoulder strength. Can't remember if he'd do them completely vertical or with a very slight angle.

Seems crazy to me that Brian built this facility ground up and put in standard size doors. 8' tall doors are super available and common for high end homes - they are in no way exotic or specialized, and he'd never have to duck.

Was thinking this too. 10 ft ceilings with 8 ft doors is pretty common now. That’s how we built and my wife and I aren’t even 6’.

I love Brian’s Gym. Juji’s gym is nice and expensive, but Brian’s is tailored to his training with proven gear which he’s built his reputation with. It takes grit and determination to build a great career in fitness, and to know you could easily buy something new, but instead choose to fix something is proving it’s worth using.

The plat leg press I'm counting 10 on 1 side assuming the same on the other, 8 on the top. I'm assuming those are 45s? 28*45=1260 that he leaves loaded on it, so that is either working from last workout or setup for the starting on the next workout (I think brian is more likely to prep for the next then leave sit from the last) Edit Coop said those were 100lb plates so 2800lbs, no wonder he does a stack one legged.

better depends on your style of training and what you have to fit those needs. Jujis might be better for him but I believe when he went to Bryan's he appreciated the variety of machines. Now are their gyms godly hell yeah. I would make my needs fit their gyms if I could own them 🤣

When your whole life revolves around needing to be the strongest man on earth, you need a gym designed to accomplish that. With Brian being so big and so strong him needing to get almost all weight machines modified makes it impossible for him to be able to work out properly at any commercial gym. Juji likely spent more money on equipment than Brian did, but his gym is something anyone with money could buy. Brian has so many unique and no longer available equipment that it is almost impossible to recreate his gym.
@brandonhoover2120 Жыл бұрын
You’re absolutely wrong on the first part lmfao So many worlds strongmen man competitors and winners go to gyms that don’t hold a candle to Brian’s. Brian is an equipment fan, that’s why the gym is so nice. Not because it was needed.
