David/Bruce had the best scene of the whole series in this clip. Just when I was so exhausted hearing Maddie's mouth going on and on, she leaves him alone, and we get the funniest stuff ever! I laughed so hard and out loud. Great stuff. Thanks so much. I've gained a whole new respect for Mr. Willis. Thanks so much for sharing. ha ha ha ha ha It was laugh out loud funny!

Why was David ever so in love with Maddie? She always put him through the grinder, so to speak, the stuff he's gone through for her and has tried so hard for her - my god, you couldn't get a more high maintenance woman, and I am a woman! =P

He loved her precisely because she was so much of a challenge and vice versa. If it were easier between them it wouldn’t have been as compelling to watch. They did Taming of the Shrew perfectly. But the writers jumped the shark with it once they made Maddie act so irrationally after they finally slept together. It was out of character even for her and it killed the show.

Came back to add that David's ten minutes demeaning himself, trying to charm the Ice Queen into come back outside, was the most excruciating 10 minutes of Moonlighting I've ever seen. And that includes the to remain nameless series finale. This scene was not funny at all. Bruce must have been wishing he was on the set for Die Hard 2 during this. Also, the man told the whole office that he loved her and this is how she treats him? Even if she didn't want to be with him there was no excuse for Maddie to be written this way. Wasn't this show supposed to be a romantic comedy--or at least a comedy with romantic elements?

She likes that he's nervous? After all this time, she's "ambivalent" about going out with him? I would have drove off as soon as she ran back into the house.
