Thank you, I was wondering why the front wheels were getting locked , I guess I'll have to do the same on my 1991 4×4 mazda, I changed the automatic transmission for a manual transmission, And many things I did not pay attention, Im learning from you guys in U-tube.👍

Hey Pilgrim! Did you mean your front axle permanently locked? b2600i is pretty simple animal, compare to modern trucks - if you swapped AT components to your truck including AT module I don't think it needs much.

I had a Jeep Cherokee with a 3 piece front axle . It never worked proper until I replaced the vacuum lines with a break cable from a mountain bike .

Hi I have a 1987 b2600 with manual hub locking ( from the 2 front wheels ). It’s the carburettor engine. One problem I have with it is that when driving at certain speeds ( 20 - 30 mph) the whole car vibrates intensely. The vibration seems to be coming from underneath the car and not from the steering wheel. I thought it was a driveshaft so I took it to a couple of mechanics to tell me what’s wrong with it. After taking a look at it they said that that the drive shaft is fine. One of them stated that it’s normal it’s the wheels that cause this vibration. Does yours vibrate when driving?? What do you think may be causing this vibration???

Most likely you have balancing issue with your tires. I had some vibration, you described, on my truck. Due to some dirt build up inside the rim and lost one of the weights as well. It still vibrate on HWY a bit due to old tires.

My RFW seems locked. I found 2 green wires rubbing on my rear drive shaft but cannot locate where they are supposed to go. Rfw switch says LOCK and 4x4 on the dash

What kind of lockers do you need for a 1989 mazda b2600i 4x4 single cab?

I don't think you need any manual hub lockers, just good to go with factory set up.
