I was only four or five but I remember traveling all these places I have super eight video footage. My father took. Trying to work that out for a throwback video. 🤷♂️ if I do, I’ll visit you to let you know. He was helicopter jet, engine, mechanic Air Force. He had a jeep 4 x 4. 😊. I think it was a 1972. I remember all the sheep. And having sheep hot dogs. 🤣🤣 I’m glad I found this channel

How anyone can see that and still prefer to sit on a beach or round a swimming pool getting slowly cooked, is beyond me! Just awesome.

That is such an amazingly beautiful scenery. And I can definitely see why a 4×4 was needed to get there. But the beauty of Iceland is so incredible. Thanks for sharing it with those of us who plan to see it in person sometime soon.❤

We just finished an 10 day tour of Iceland, fell from surprise into surprise, but this was really the most beautiful place we visited. Stunning! Take the 6,5 km hike, it will take you around the area, including a part on the snow. Amazing!

Beautiful! Are there places to dip in hot springs? Do you have to only go to commercial, developed spots, or are there natural wild places to dip in and explore?
@AllThingsIceland2 жыл бұрын
Yes, there is a spot you can walk to that is not far from the nearby Kerlingarfjöll mountain lodge (about a mile). I didn’t have time to go there but I heard it’s nice.

I'm visiting Iceland this November (the 2nd through the 13th). I'll be on an 8-day guided tour most days, but these look so amazing to check out. I'm staying in Reykjavik and looking to plan some day trip activities. Both of these seem that you'll need a car? Is it worth renting a car for a day or two and exploring on my own? Also, would be super amazing to meet up with you while I'm in Iceland!!!
