Amazing adventure! Not very friendly with the shepherd, though. If you give them a couple of cigarettes or a few candies, they'll give you two pounds of the most natural cheese you ever tasted. Been there, done that.

I use an iPad Pro 12.9 mounted with magnets in my car. Backup and mobile device: Landrover Explore phone with Adventure pack (extra battery and external GPS receiver). Software for routeplanning, tracking and offline maps Gaia GPS, Google Earth both on iPad and phone.

Very nice trip! Nice car too, but I am shocked your brakes stopped working on that mountain. Reliability image of Toyota is scratched... I never had this with my Landrovers in the last 20 years.
