I really enjoy your vids you’re always honest about your experience and expectations on each new rc you try. Top dollar or bargain bin. I really respect that I have watched in enjoyment on days when I could not go bash my own. You channel has become my favorite for the bashes the builds and the total carnage. Its 6:20 am here in michigan. And im up playing with a $60 4x4 truck i got at walmart for my daughter. I play with the thing more than she does lol. Now im omw to buy more rc's in my life :) The truck is not bad for $60. I was actually impressed with it. Great vid btw! You should try a micro RC car. The ones that come in soda like cans. Lol

That thing is a beast in the mud a really like it I think it was worth and and you should make the wltoys 959b brushless and it will be fast and fun to bash you should do a video where you fix the rustler 4x4 and mud bog the slash and then rebuild it love your videos kev

I got a question Kev? Should I lock up my center diff and leave front and rear open or should I lock up the front and rear and leave center open? RC car is redcat racing shredder. Don't judge it's the only redcat I own, the rest are Traxxas lol. (2 8s xmaxx, slash, erevo 2.0, x0-1)

Crawler for 250$ get a redcat gen7 or barrage 1.9 or the rgt or ftx 10th scale crawler's, for a basher for 250$ the only brand you will find brushless and 4x4 for that price range is redcat again like the blackout brushless or the volcano pro.

most of the reason people go for the bigger brands is snobbery.... I like the high end stuff just because I want my builds to be scale as possible they look great they perform well...but these cheapo trucks often out perform them on the trail.... they may not be bomb proof or be really scale but the parts are cheap n they do the job. And some of the twin hammers clones are better than the twin hammers actually is.

Totally agree. Love my higher end RC stuff and love my cheap WPL Military Rc Trucks. Would not mind a Twin hammers, but I really think my money would be better spent on the HBX above for bashing as such.

@@SB-1947 I think this hbx is awesome and the metal diffs are a huge reason to pick it over the wltoys, I really don't know where he gets this 60$ tho because like I said it's 145$ right now and is usually 168$ he keeps claiming it's a dirt cheap comparison to the wltoys but it's twice as much to buy it and I don't know anyone that calls 145$ dirt cheap lol. I just checked bangood and they are on sale for 90$ that's the best I've seen the hbx, still not 60$ like he's claiming lol.

He is talking about pounds or British money. Usually its half what we pay in Canada, so I can order it now for 122.05, so that makes sense. Not sure where your ordering from or looking for price point. So in reality if he pays 60 pounds he still is paying 122 dollars Canadian. But he gets his RC's for free, lets not kid ourselves, but I appreciate his honesty about and not just going high priced all the time.

Surprise! (surprise for me) i decided to open it up and have a bit of a look see inside, I saw nothing wrong with it. Then i thought, hmm, it might the batteries in the controller, (i have had that problem before,) i put some other batteries in (i took them from a TV remote) but it still didn't work. Then i tryed some ne unuaed ones and, SURPRISE! It worked! (still no idea what the smoke was about...)
