Folks forget I am in the "movie" making business - and that my goal was to make a video that would be viewed a million times. Mission accomplished. The ground was dug exactly where I wanted it, but people are so stuck inside the "box" that they dont realize that the goal was to get the trucks stuck.. not for it to make it ;) How else could I use a recovery truck!

that is possible, but using rc motors they are perfectly capable of going insane speeds like 70mph on one single fixed gear.Gear changing is most commonly found on trucks like the ones shown, where you can choose to crawl to get over obstacles or change to a higher gear to go a bit faster.
