I had a lot of 8x8 paper in 4x4 squares and needed an idea to use them up quickly. So I'm going to quickly and easily turn these single sided 4x4 cut aparts into cards with no patterned paper scraps. Another idea I use is use a stamp like dots, triangles etc around the edges before use attach the 4x4 piece, last year I used metallic paint to splatter on the edges.

I really like this template!! I sometimes like to use 4x4 squares to make wreaths, and this is a great way to not have the rest of the card be awkward.

Thanks for the ideas. I adore these owls ,so I am going to use two other pattern sheets from the pack to make my small pieces and that way I will still be able to make all 24 owls into cards with no scraps of patterned paper. Love these cards…just a thought…..those sentiment pages could be used as background mats….if it is all Christmas themed sentiments you can put a Christmas themed focal point on it like a Christmas tree…..❤
