I really like this template!! I sometimes like to use 4x4 squares to make wreaths, and this is a great way to not have the rest of the card be awkward.

Love these cards…just a thought…..those sentiment pages could be used as background mats….if it is all Christmas themed sentiments you can put a Christmas themed focal point on it like a Christmas tree…..❤

Another idea I use is use a stamp like dots, triangles etc around the edges before use attach the 4x4 piece, last year I used metallic paint to splatter on the edges.

Thanks for the ideas. I adore these owls ,so I am going to use two other pattern sheets from the pack to make my small pieces and that way I will still be able to make all 24 owls into cards with no scraps of patterned paper. But if I have the time I do want to try your background stamp suggestion, Awesome 👌 Have a great day!

Hi Jess. I really enjoy your tutorials. I appreciate that you offer free downloads and I have taken advantage of those in the past. Today, I used the discount code and purchased the downloads you mentioned here and I bought the 6x6 1-50 set as well. They will come in handy because I make lots of cards on a weekly basis for various charitable organizations. I have way too much patterned paper that I need to use up, I’m sure your layouts will help me with that goal. 😊
