I have so many paper pads that I bought a metal shoe storage contraption that hangs behind the door of my craft/bedroom to hold my 6x6 pads! And I have a drawer of Christmas papers, too. Some date back to 2010, when I told my hubby 'It has to be cheaper to make cards than to buy them.' Nope! Thank you so much for your videos and sketches, they are invaluable!

Love your ideas for using up our stashes. I have papers from the 90s, so don't feel bad. I have too many 6x6 pads too, and love your ideas for using stamps and dies to create embellishments when there aren't enough cut-aparts or ephemera to use. Enjoy your templates too and will have to pick up some of those plastic pouches and sentiments! Thank you for designing these and for sharing them with us.

For your half inch paper cutter conundrum...maybe try a strip of washi tape that is half an inch away from your last mark? That way it stays flat and won't rub off on your paper! I have 1/4" washi on my tim Holtz trimmer at the 6 1/4 and 6 1/2 marks. Definitely helps! Thanks for another great paper busting video!

The pads I have don’t have cut a parts and are single sided love your plans I’m making my Christmas cards just now we are not going camping this year

Awesome tutorial Jess. I have an Echo Park Let’s Go Anywhere pad that I’m making this with right now. I won’t be able to get as many cards as you because I took 6 for cut apart, but it’ll make a good dent into my teacher Christmas gifts for my 3 kids this year. Thanks and hugs from Canada! 🇨🇦

You have a good eye on what goes together, I struggle and take too much time picking patterns/paper for cards! You make it look so easy, love your templates.
@JessCrafts2 жыл бұрын
Double sided paper takes a lot of the work out of it. The patterns usually go together perfectly.

Just heard your issue with 1/2” pieces of cardstock. You can mark the silver/metal with a sharp poky tool or knife. Back to your video! 😘🇨🇦

I love your sketches and even though UK A6 is slightly different (taller and narrower) than the US A2, I am finding I can make your templates work. I pop your video on, grab a 6x6 pad & card then craft along. Thanks for sharing.

It makes me so happy to hear that you love to craft along to my videos. My goal is to help crafters enjoy their stash and stay crafty. Thank you for watching!

At 20:30 in the video you have a plastic container with your sentiments in it. Did you repurpose a container originally used for something else or can you purchase that container from somewhere?

It's from the same company that makes the stamps. Here's a link: www.tayloredexpressions.com/simple-storage-for-simple-strips/ I'll add it to the supply list too.

Hello, First I want to tell you how much I enjoy your card tutorial’s. I just watched the 6 x 6 Doodlebug Sweet Summer video, and am wondering what you used for card stock base ? I love Doodlebug papers and what colors to use for card bases to match Doodlebug papers.
@JessCrafts2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I use Accent Opaque 100lb for card bases. There is a link in the description. As for the cardstock mats I get most of my colored cardstock at Michaels in multi packs so I'm unable to give specific color names.
