I agree with all the comments,I’m 72 and still love camping ,you covered everything.When you get older the hard core 4x4 is a bit hard and I appreciate young guys like you taking the time to do this!

Nice to see Wellington National Park shown by such good footage. I live in Collie but enjoy camping by the dam, especially in winter with a fire. It's far enough away from civilisation (little phone reception) but only 20mins to Collie to get supplies. Don't drive into Collie after a few beers though, the cops are red hot.

Hi I've just starting following you and been catching up on your video, which by the way are great, this place is in my own backyard, beautiful places around Collie. Nearly caught up with your latest videos, I'm so jealous we decided to stay home this winter, which in Collie can be very cold. People do camp at Black Diamond and we have a new area opening up next year I think, not too far from Stockton Lake

Good on you mate!! Yep I can confirm that DJI were fantastic about the crashes drone - they have a brand new drone, battery and props in the post for me a week after first speaking to them...DJI Care, I would never buy a drone without it!!

The end of the lennard track used to be rutted asf and a pretty challenging hill with some big ruts, probably caused by people not letting thier tyres down or something. Perhaps its been graded and flattened out since i was last there. Unlucky ol mate with the drone everyone has crashed one i reckon lol.
@WildTouring4 жыл бұрын
Yeah it must have been graded. Cause I've heard others say it's a challenge too. But other than being steep, there was nothing to it. Yeah I've crashed my fair share of drones 😂
@OzTravellers Жыл бұрын
@WildTouring It used to be a good challenge, but it's had work on it.

I wonder why they don't turn Black Diamond into a campsite. It would be perfect and from what I remember, people used to camp out there years ago. Having campers there would discourage the hoons from going out and smashing up old cars etc.
@WildTouring4 жыл бұрын
Yeah not sure why they won't allow it. But they're pretty serious about it, signs everywhere saying its under video surveillance
@ShoeysAdventures4 жыл бұрын
Nice video Cam, I love it down Collie way. Oh, shiit Brad not the Drone!! almost the same way I crashed mine, the side sensors only work in tripod mode, so basically useless.
@dad4x4adventures84 жыл бұрын
Shoey's Adventures yep but was completely my fault, couldn’t blame the drone in anyway! DJI were amazing though and within a week of lodging the claim they have a brand new one in the mail to me!!

I'm thoroughly enjoying your channel mate (and others) I'm in the process of fitting out my Rodeo to get off the bitumen and explore some of the south/southwest hideaways with my 10yr old daughter (I need to get her off the screens and into the real world!) I'm looking at the VMS GPS from 4wd supacentre , have you (or anyone reading this for that matter) had any experience with the VMS? What is recommended for off-road tracks mapping? Cheers, looking forward to the next adventure.

Did DJI cover the drone? From what I remembered when I drown mine (was so lucky to find it) they had to have it returned to cover it.
@WildTouring4 жыл бұрын
Yes they did. Brad said they've been really good about it. But yeah he did mention you have to send them the broken one. So you'd be stuffed if it was a fly away or drowned it. I'll definitely get the cover with my next drone.
@dad4x4adventures84 жыл бұрын
Sense of Adventure yes mate DJI have been great! I knew I needed the drone to send back to them so the relief when we found it was overwhelming!! Within a week of first speaking to them they have a new drone, battery and props in the post to me!!
