I air down to 4psi right off the bat then adjust lower from there when snow wheeling here in North Idaho. I’m running Gladiators 12 ply (Suck in the snow) Iroks are the way to go for all conditions!!! Only 6 ply for snow wheeling….

I am not trying to be an ass, but a redirect as you were doing in the final pull doesn't double the pulling power. If you were using a winch on the stuck vehicle, then yes, but since you are using the winch on another vehicle, it's just a 1:1. Great video, keep the content coming!

I came here to say that there is no mechanical advantage to one pulley. It’s irritating to hear people say this. Any they relay bad info that someone else gave them, it’s a vicious cycle.

@@Motodents If you are using the single pulley as a snatch block, there is a mechanical advantage... if you are pulling from another vehicle... it is only a redirect with no mechanical advantage.

Throw a 3 to 4in ratchet strap around the tire crank it down as tight as you can it sometimes helps seat the tire

I think his problem with popping the bead off is that his (wheel) width is 10”? Use 8.5”-9” with that narrow of a tire. IMO 👍

Have heard that it is not a good idea to have tires of different rolling circumferences across axles. Bad news for the ring and pinion gears. One can buy pressure bleed/relief valves to "air down" tires reproducibly at all four corners; they do it automatically to a preset pressure. Or use a tire pressure gauge with a push-button bleed valve on it.....$25.....one tire at a time. Have fun !

If it were driving on pavement it would be concerning. Mud, snow and sand wouldn’t hurt as long as it’s loose traction
