You should do more tutorial videos. I love my Android unit, but there are some issues that are so frustrating. Things I'd like to understand more - Updates, how do we update the firmware? Changing the stock old car image at startup.

this is great so for apple carplay you always have to go to zlink to always connect every time is there a way so when you phone is connected or plug in carplay comes up automatically?

Hi. When you went into the Hot spot on the device to make sure the hot spot was turned on, what about the bluetooth option inside hotspot, i saw it further down for a few seconds when you clicked on hotspot, should it also be turned on as well, or off...? Cheers 🙂

You can install those apps inside the unit and insert a Sim card directly inside our unit

One more troubleshooting option is in your Bluetooth settings on your phone and check your saved car player and click on that and you need give the device it's name you have options to choose and from that choose carplayer, and you have other options like speaker, usb and so on so make sure you choose carplayer otherwise it won't work coz I'm these videos they won't show that main important setting that's why most people get stuck here trying to connect the iPhone to the carplayer.

Does the Android Carplay work if your car doesn't have any AUX installed - my car only has USB and Bluetooth I just found out. I just had the new Android system installed in my Mercedes CLA and the only way I have been able to get audio to work is by connecting my iphone using original car bluetooth. Then I can go to Android Carplay using ZLINK and it works but I need to manually reconnect constantly switching between original system and android system which is so frustrating. Also my reverse camera only works in original car system mode! Is there any way around all this? I'm seriously thinking of taking this system out but it cost me so much already!!! Please any help is much appreciated..... Daniel

I don’t have a connectivity issue I.e. my iPhone and CarPlay works. However, when I turn off the car the system does not turn off. It continues to be turned on. Any idea why this may or anyway I can reset it or something?

So if your manually connected to apple car play and you run out of signal so u have no wifi will it just kick u out of CarPlay?

Hello, in my Zlink 4.0.12 there ist no checkbox for Android Auto. I am not able to connect my Phone to the Navi. It says something from baidu carlife...there ist no Applikation for usb. I am looking for this issued since many days but I have nothing found. Has anybody a Tip for me? I have done factory reset and played with settings bit nothing helped me. Thanks in advance
