I was born and raised in Botswana, but I have never been to all these places. Through your KZbin channel, I know about all these places to the extent where I can have a full conversation with people who have been there, as if I have been there myself. I can even tell them about the terrain on those roads, the challenges, or even the best spots to visit👌🤙

Loved the video and the journey, brings me back to our 2017 trip! The hornbill in your video is actually the bradfields hornbill, unique to the top of Botswana, but easily mistaken with the crowned
@4x4ventures_southafrica3 жыл бұрын
Thank you James, really appreciate your correction on the hornbill, seems I set myself up quite a few times with that one 🤣 really appreciate your feedback mate. Glad I could reignite your 2017 journey. What an adventure 🤙
@johnmarais77723 жыл бұрын
Hi James, yes agreed that is a Bradfield's Hornbill. However I don't believe they are unique to Botswana, they are also found in Hwange, Zimbabwe, we've identified Bradfield's at Ngweshla Pan in August 2018.

Hi Nic, I don't like the comparison between other KZbinrs. Preference is an individual bias, and with Chris being a mate I enjoy his shows and the flavour he brings to camping in Southern Africa, different shows to be honest. Good to hear that you are supporting South African youtubers, and we'll see you at the next one 🤙
